Reported my first thread which was becoming more unbelievable, and was indeed a troll. Usually these things go over my head completely!

Congrats.

originalmavis Thu 17-Mar-16 08:48:01

Do tell!

PurpleDaisies Thu 17-Mar-16 08:49:29

it's satisfying to be right. Which thread?

MrsJayy Thu 17-Mar-16 08:50:11

Trollicking Thu 17-Mar-16 08:54:56

Which one? There are so many that u suspect at the moment. It really tedious.

HolditFinger Thu 17-Mar-16 08:55:27

I commented on one yesterday that I'm pretty sure was a troll. Haven't been able to find it since, so I suspect I was right.

I read and run these days, if I suspect trollery. I think a lot of people fabricating heartbreaking dilemmas are in genuine need of compassion, just not for the storyline they are spinning. I don't think a lot of troll threads are intended to be malicious.

On the other hand, the thinly disguised begging threads make me cross.

Veggie name baby?
Trans gender 3 year old?

PurpleDaisies Thu 17-Mar-16 09:01:50

I loved the veggie name thread-clearly not a real dilemma but I hope that hasn't gone.

Bunbaker Thu 17-Mar-16 09:01:51

Boyfriend in hospital after motorbike accident. Loads of people, including me, reported it.

murphyslaws Thu 17-Mar-16 09:02:54

I must be gullible I read those and thought legit. hmm

phequer Thu 17-Mar-16 09:02:55

Message withdrawn at poster's request.

Woman who turned up at the hospital to visit her boyfriend and found he had a wife?

Tbh I reported that twice. Didn't hear anything the first time. I did ask more questions. I thought mn were happy with it and was hoping the OP would trip themseleves up, so people could see it was an under the bridge dweller.

originalmavis Thu 17-Mar-16 09:04:52

Noooo veggie OP apparently sent some bizarre/ nasty PMs out.

PurpleDaisies Thu 17-Mar-16 09:06:17

I was just getting ready to babe my future children after coleslaw ingredients on the back of that thread. How disappointing.

MrsJayy Thu 17-Mar-16 09:14:00

Trolls are dedicated eh they construct a scenario and go with it i just think wtf is wrong with people

Highsteaks Thu 17-Mar-16 09:21:53

Ah I read the motorbike boyfriend one, but thought it was a bit dull so never got to the bit where he had a wife!!!!

PageStillNotFound404 Thu 17-Mar-16 09:39:30

I posted at the beginning of that thread echoing another poster and didn't go back to it but I did notice the "deleted, OP troll" message on my Threads I'm On list. Didn't realise it had taken a thrilling hmm turn later on.

(This will probably also go poof for being a TAAT, of course.)

BillSykesDog Thu 17-Mar-16 09:41:50

The one where his sister went to hospital? Turned out he had a made up wife? Blimey, missed it.

BeagBoo Thu 17-Mar-16 09:43:42

There was a very creepy troll in Childbirth last night. Glad the thread was zapped.

InvictusVersinium Thu 17-Mar-16 09:46:16

I can only occasionally spot them.

Congratulations on your first kill. star

We should get troll hunter points by our nick names. So when someone with 10,000 bullets by their name shows up on a troll thread we all know everythings gonna be alright.

InvictusVersinium Thu 17-Mar-16 09:49:23

And the dedicated troll hunters wit the most kills could send the trolls to troll rehab.
