If there's a PS3/4 in the house you can stream very easily through that otherwise laptop + hdmi cable.

Shouldn't you have asked this before cancelling Sky? And somewhere more sensible than AIBU?
Just watch it on Showbox, anyway.

AIBU ??

Sorry, I panicked and stumbled straight into MN whilst simultaneously breathing intona paper bag at the horror of what i'd done. I have been googling and can't figure out how these damn boxes work

I am £60 a month better off tho.

The lady organised for me to have free broadband for a year. So i'm just paying line rental. I also get to keep the record / rewind function on the sky box which is usually £10 a month so im happy with that.

We got rid of virgin media and got a now tv box. It's £7.99 for the entertainment pack and that has Fox tv on it, you can watch live or on catch up. So much better.

Lol I've just done the same, and I've got to binge watch all of series one before they turn my sky tv off!!
I have got netflix and amazon prime though, I'm debating Now TV to complete the 3 streaming services..... ;) Can you get Fox on Now tv? Or Freesat (as i don't have an aerial, only a sky dish) But I'm saving myself a fortune each month even with the streaming services.....

What's amazon prime like ?? Im liking the look of that. Fox does appear to be on now tv........well it had be.

My palms were sweating after putting the phone down !!

Whether you miss out on anything depends only (pretty much) on how far your morals will stretch with streaming/downloading

I've just done the same. We've now got Now TV instead. paid 24.99 for 6 months... that's just over 4 quid a month and I still get walking dead and mad men so I'm happy.

Not really no.

Tho I am getting phone and internet for £17 a month now. Can't grumble at that.

I did the same as you Lemony - got rid of Virgin for a Now tv box.

It was for financial reasons really but Now tv has turned out to be much better than Virgin anyway Smile
