To think this person is racist

A few weeks ago there was a horrible incident near us in which a house a family were moving into (rented) was damaged and racial slurs wrote due to the colour of skin of the family moving in :(
This was disgusting and like everyone else we think whoever did it is scum and the community was horrified.

The community rallied round, offered help and a councillor also got involved who is now working with this family to help put a stop to racism in our area although I have never seen anything like this before I am not naïve that it could happened.

However since this has happened the head of the family has used our community forum to constantly attack the residents, the residents who are the same ones who rallied round. She is finding inflammatory links and posting them and then ranting. I understand they are angry, I would be too and I have actually been subject to racism myself but...

The word 'you people' is constantly banded around in a derogatory way.
You whites has also been used
You people are lazy
You people are racist
You people are the reason there are race riots, When my children are older they will retaliate against 'you people' like 'the Asians' have.
'My kids are learning hatred from you people'
'Asylum seekers don't sit on their backsides, they work hard to pay for a house and cars while you people binge on alcohol and cigarettes'
'die in your sleep due to high blood pressure' (to someone who challenged them'
'I call my kids whites because of how they act'
She went into a huge rant about a program on benefits and how British people are all lazy, how we are all lazy and why does no one attack people who are on benefits born here. It was pointed out that lots of families on benefits are vilified in the media, social media and by our government and that channels purposely chose the people for these programs they know will cause a stir. She still attacked British people. Someone gave her the statistics of how few people actually on benefits are actually out of work and were told not to try and justify that the majority of British aren't lazy because they are etc.

If anyone challenges her they are racist, on benefits or scum.

AIBU to think she is trying to fight discrimination with discrimination?

I wish more time was spent showing where communities work and where good experiences exist. People are better focusing on common values and beliefs to unit them rather than what doesn't. It can work if we believe it can.

So they are the victims of racism and now they are spouting the same bile? Stupidity isn't a race or religion. It's just dumb ass idiots talking rubbish.

Do what Worra says and screen shot and report. Nothing more needs to be done. Report and move on.

Have you posted this before op? It sounds very familiar. Does anyone else remember this being posted, maybe quite a while ago?

Yeah, I would say he / she is racist. Whilst all racism is wrong, there is a surprising lack of acknowledgement in some circles that it isn't only white British people who are racist.

Absolutely. To quote the brilliant 'avenue q', "bigotry has never been exclusively white".

She sounds v unpleasant. I feel sorry for what happened - and I feel sorry for her kids.

There is a lot of racism coming the other way too toward white people, deserved or not. It can be quite upsetting.

No, this is current. It's in Wigan right? The whole story is a bit dubious.
