The last few days ive had a sore throat and earache and felt pretty lousy.dh has had a flu bug and perhaps i caught some of it,however ive worked as someone is on leave and i dont usually phone in sick.
DH had a golfing day so i did the chores dosed myself up with paracetamol and went to work.9 hrs later and voice almost gone i get a phone call to collect dd from the pub she works in so we get in 1145 pm tired and feeling pretty ill.
The oven was on with food for ds who washes up where i work.i asked if something could go on for me while i bathed as i have work sunday all day.
Dh told me that as i dont cook for him at 630 he wouldnt cook for me.Often im working on lates or split shifts!!!
I feel like my marriage is a sham if he cant help me when i have brought both dcs home so he can have a drink at golf.AIBU

I think that a level of caring for each other, is crucial and should be expected, in a relationship.

If it's gone beyond spelling out your expectations, then the pettiness and the lack of caring he has shown, could well be the final straw.

Pettiness and point scoring has no place in a relationship, IMO.

No, you're NBU. I would stop doing everything for him! And take care of yourself. Take Sunday off and stay in bed. flowers

The reason i loved him was his caring nature however 29 yrs on its disappeared.Partly im here putting up with it as Dad s terminally ill and i cant afford rent around here.We hardly see each other as we all work shifts.Someone putting something in the microwave would ve been fab sad DCs made me a hot drink.
