Just love it ! anyone else?

hippoinamudhole Thu 25-Feb-16 18:59:16

Is that allshock

AdrenalineFudge Thu 25-Feb-16 19:00:22

I've never seen it even just once. It seems so much of a cult thing and something I'd be interested in watching but I wouldn't know where to start.

hippoinamudhole Thu 25-Feb-16 19:02:33

Start with a new hope then work your way through in the order they were made. They are brilliant.

mrbananabeak Thu 25-Feb-16 19:02:48

The music and visual effects are stunning

CheesyNachos Thu 25-Feb-16 19:05:20

YANBU. smile I love seeing films many times especially at the cinema. You are absorbed.

I saw Everest three times (once in 3D).

Thefitfatty Thu 25-Feb-16 19:06:31

Episode 4 or the force awakens? Episode 4 absolutely not. Must have seen it 20 times myself. Force awakens, good job! Only managed twice myself

mrbananabeak Thu 25-Feb-16 19:09:30

Kylo Ren omg!!!

Thefitfatty Thu 25-Feb-16 19:10:21

Lurve Kylo Ren

mrbananabeak Thu 25-Feb-16 19:15:52

Got a month unlimited card so going again next week to see those fabulous tantrums ;-)

Finola1step Thu 25-Feb-16 19:18:18

I am vvv jealous. Have only seen it once... Christmas Eve with a large glass of wine and a big bag of minstrels. I love Curzon Cinemas.

LetThereBeCupcakes Thu 25-Feb-16 19:21:00

I've never seen it either. One day I will but I'm still fretting over order at the moment. A colleague recommends machete order bit not sure I can cope with excluding a whole film... <over invested>

Donge13 Thu 25-Feb-16 19:21:05

Yanbu you need to go several more timesgrin

TrionicLettuce Thu 25-Feb-16 19:26:07

I lost count how many times DH and went, I think it was either 10 or 11 blush

We're hopefully going again next week to catch in 3D on a local Imax screen grin

mrbananabeak Thu 25-Feb-16 19:43:49

has to be seen in 3D to appreciate the opening scene and the flight battles

hippoinamudhole Thu 25-Feb-16 20:13:45

I thought you were talking about episode 4. Not a bad effort for the force awakens

mrbananabeak Thu 25-Feb-16 20:44:37

went to see it first when it was released in December before ds was allowed to see it as rated a 12. Then took ds a couple of times, once with a friend and a couple of times on my own. Kylo Ren has a dark attraction

MuddlingMackem Thu 25-Feb-16 20:49:25

YABVU - because I've only managed to see Ep VII three times at the cinema, so am rather jealous. envy Really looking forward to the Blu-Ray release in May. smile

As for New Hope, probably seen it over 100 times. grin

SelfRaisingFlour Thu 25-Feb-16 20:54:33

If you like Kylo Ren, you'll like this from Saturday Night Live ...

I think Kylo Ren is a bit of a big baby with his ridiculous rages.

mrbananabeak Thu 25-Feb-16 20:57:08

DS not allowed to watch revenge of the Sith, that one is a bit grim

mrbananabeak Thu 25-Feb-16 21:14:39

Matt the radar tech :D
Also very enamoured of Darth Maul !

MilleniumTalcum Thu 25-Feb-16 21:21:54

selfraisingflour grin that whole SNL show was brilliant.

I love matt the radar tech. I'm secretly hoping they actually delayed episode 8 because he's now in it wink

I've seen TFA 4 times now but am going again tomorrow.

Had never watched Star Wars until 6 months ago. What was life before? How can you become so obsessed so fast? grin

MilleniumTalcum Thu 25-Feb-16 21:25:30

I felt like they got the balance of tone right. A throwback to the sequels but updated. Some old. Some new etc. Better acting too but part of the appeal of the originals is the ott acting imo. Han's reaction when he finds out a certain duo are related shock

mrbananabeak Thu 25-Feb-16 21:36:08

Love the name MillenniumTalcum smile and why did I not notice Oscar before. Wow !!!

MilleniumTalcum Thu 25-Feb-16 21:36:19

Amazing fan made short to see you through

I'd love to see more stuff like this. Really beautifully done.
