Hi there :)

I really need some inspiration...

DC1 is due soon (no idea what gender) and would love a name ready!

DH's favourite name (boy) is Oliver (I really like it too, but know loads :()

Stuck for girls' names, but I do quite like Darcy...

Thanks in advance x

I had boys but if they had been girls they would have been Amy and Claudia.

My absolute favourites are quite unusual which I'm assuming wouldn't be your choice from the ones you've written but I also like

Reuben
Sebastian

Harriet
Matilda

Joel & Ivy

Sparklingbrook - I do love the simplicity of Amy, but I'm not sure it flows that well with our surname (Mayfield)?

Claudia is nice, but it isn't really DH's taste!

Lovely choices, though!

Darcy is lovely, one of my favourites too.

My opinion on names changes constantly (curse of being a teacher). Currently a fan on Elle and Polly for girls. Niall for a boy.

I chose quite classic names and a quirky name as well.

I also like

Girl: Tilly, Stormy, Patience

Boy: Rueben, Haryy, Hugh

I see what you mean with the surname it doesn't flow does it? Sad

Plus Elena/Ellie.

Alyx80 - Reuben is a name I can't use, but I do like Sebastian! (Not really keen on Seb, though)

Harriet is nice; so is Matilda (but I don't want a name beginning with m)

gunting - Joel and Ivy are nice - really like Ivy!

Darcy and Oliver are lovely but very, very popular if you're concerned about that kind of thing.
My new baby is called Heidi.

Also a Lucy (4) and I love the name
Oscar :)

If we had another, I'd have Arlo for a boy, and Noa for a girl.

My absolute favourite boys' name is Linus (big Peanuts fan), but DH reckons wee Linus would get picked on for his name Sad

For girls: Alice, Lucienne, Noura

Lucinda, Nadia & Gabrielle for girls (ExH vetoed them all)

Seth & Ethan for boys

Scarlett and Anya both go nicely with Mayfield.

Noah Mayfield is cool too :)

TypicallyEnglishMustard - love Darcy, it's just so pretty!

Elle is lovely, but I do prefer Ella! Polly is cute, but my mum calls me Lolly, so I think it's too similar :)

Niall is nice, but all I think is 1D :(

Esmeismyhero - Tilly is nice, but would go for Matilda :)

Stormy and Patience aren't really our style, but thank you! I think it's great to like less used names - I wish I did!

Sparklingbrook - I think it could work, but yeah... :(

Polly ^

Betsy is my MIL's dog! Blush

Elena - is this like Eleanor? :)

Oysterbabe - oh my gosh! She's perfect!!! So cannot wait to meet mine...

I seem to like popular names, unfortunately! :( Heidi is lovely...

MissRabbitHasTooManyJobs - does he get Ollie? (I like it, but not as much as Oliver!)

Lucy is lovely, but my name begins with an a - is that a problem? Hmm

BuntyCollocks - Arlo is okay, but not really my style, but I do love Noah for a boy! I think I'd always think of it as a boys' name, so not sure I could do Noa for a girl :( it is pretty, though!

AgentCooper - Linus is a name I have never heard of, but I don't think it's a name which would cause teasing!

Alice is nice :)

I'm not a fan of Lucienne or Noura :(

Picturesofmatchstickmen - Madeline is lovely! Love Maddie too, but it begins with m :( Luka is cool, but I prefer Luke/Lucas! Great choices, though...

ShamefulPlaceMarker - Seb ^ Pippa is cute :)

Twistedheartache - Lucinda and Nadia sound rather old-fashioned to my ears :(

Gabrielle is nice and Gabriella is lush!!!

Seth is cool, but Ethan is really nice! :)

grumpysquash2 - Scarlett is so pretty! Not sure on Anya...

Noah is one of my favourites!!!
