to be horrified that my dd's school have kept something from me for SIX months

My dd told me last night she has been suffering from bulimia for over six months. Obviously a huge shock. But what has angered me more than anything is that she told the school in September last year and apart from the fact they haven't said anything to me - my dd is 15 and in year 10 - they registered her with the school doctor who has had her on medication for months without my consent. Not only this - but they moved her GP to a different surgery so she is now registered at the surgery where the school doctor works and not at the surgery where the rest of her family are registered. I only found this out when I made an appointment for her recently and was told she was no longer at the surgery and her medical records had been moved elsewhere. Is this even allowed??
