This has been puzzling me all day.
Went to Asda this morning - which opens at 10am (I double checked before posting this). I got there at 10.05am, thinking it'll be empty. Silly deluded little me.
The car park was heaving - although I did manage to get a P&C space (sightings of free spaces in my local Asda are less than frequent than sightings of Shergar and Lord Lucan, so this was very good news). People were actually coming out as I was going in with full trollies of bagged up shopping!! How the bloody hell have they managed to do a full shop and pay for it in 5 minutes?!
I've thought about it and it can only be one of the following:
- They camp overnight on the Saturday, do their shopping then and wait by the tills to open at 10am
- They have a Bernard's Watch
- They are magical
- This is actually normal and I'm Faffy McFafferson
If you are a 5-minute speed shopper come forward and tell me how you do it!
