Walking older dd to school this morning as she has additional needs, took dog while at it. For the record dog does not come off the lead as she has rubbish recall.

Car pulls up at the side of me and dd driving from the complete opposite direction of where I live. It is 7am so I am assuming that he is coming from home at that time, I don't even go further than where the shops are in that direction and there are no houses between where he stopped me and the shops just a large park, the houses are after, this is relevant.

He winds window down. Man in his 60s. Presume he is asking for directions.

"oyy you fucking bitch, if you let your dog shit in my garden again I am going to have you. I am going to smear you and your kids faces in it your dirty fucking bitch and then fucking have you"

Me: My dog doesn't come off the lead, I don't let her in gardens and I always pick up her poo (shows him bags in my pocket) it wasn't me.

It WAS you you fucking slag I fucking saw you the other day, you fucking bitch, I am going to fucking have you, I will smear your fucking face in it if I see you again. You ought to be reported you fucking bitch. (Our area has a site you can get people fined for dog fouling if you are prepared to act as a witness even if the council have not seen them.)

ME: It wasn't me.

You will be sorry you dirty slag, if there's shit in my garden again and I see you I will fucking have you.

I started to move towards the back to get his registration and he shot off at speed so I could not get it.
Shock

DD by this point is terrified!

For the record I hate dog poo on the floor, I am sick of standing in it and literally two minutes before this happened I had picked our own dogs mess up and binned it.

Angry

That's awful! Did you get his number plate? I'd be reporting him to the police so they can go have a word.
Horrid man, hope you and your DD are okay Thanks

I hope you reported him to the police?

What a nasty experience for you and your DD.

This has nothing to do with dogs, and everything to do with a nasty verbal assault which left you shaken.

I'm sure a call to 101 would not be a waste of time.

Should be easy enough to find the prick he must live nearby.

I would walk the neighbourhood until I found his car, got his reg and went to the police. Nasty, bullying fucker. I would do it today too, he can't get away with it, quite the big man in his car targeting a woman and a child. Hope you and your dd are ok op

Reported to police but as soon as he realised that I was trying to get his registration he shot off before I could get it. There is no other route to school and we have to do it daily so dd is now terrified as he has threatened basically to 'get us' every time there is poo in his garden.

So presumably every time the person who IS letting their dog poo in his garden does do so I am at risk of being assaulted. :(

He is also reporting us apparently for dog fouling. Presumably giving them the description of me and dear dog he saw today.

I'm so sorry you had to go through this. What a cowardly, pathetic little twat he must be.

Well, that saves the search for him. I suspect he'll forget he threatened you though ?

As far as I can see the dogs are a red herring - he's an abusive bully who needs to be called out on his behaviour.

I know I say that I would happily string up the **s who let their dogs crap on our lawns, but it's hyperbole, really, all I'm capable of is a strongly worded letter. In block capitals Grin.

He won't report you, because that would give him away as the pathetic git who shouted at a woman and child for nothing.

Would you recognise the car? Could you get a friend to drive you further along the village and have a look for it? If he's reasonably local, which he must be if he thought your dog was in his garden, you might be able to track him down and give the police more information so they can go and speak to him.

Don't approach him yourself though.

And tell everyone about it, with a description of him and the car. Someone will know him.

I'm not really surprised that someone is letting their dog crap in his garden if that's how he treats people Hmm.

Sorry you copped it though Sad

I have added it onto the local village Facebook pages.

Either he will continue to harass us every time the dog who is pooing , poos in his garden

or he will catch the actual person doing it and realise it isn't me.

Doubt he will be remorseful though!

I would recognise the car if I saw it again although I am not sure of the make or model. I was half asleep and too taken by surprise.

Lurking I hate dog poo in my garden so would never let my dog do it elsewhere either.

I admit to feeling murderous about non-picked-up dog poo. It's so horrible and so selfish. Days out have been ruined when my children have stood in it. So i can sympathise with the feelings behind the rant.

That said, I would never accuse someone without proof and if I did speak to someone (who I knew was a culprit) about it I would never be threatening or abusive. There is no xcuse whatsoever for anyone to speak to you like that. I'm sorry Sad

Make sure you take your phone with you when you walk in the area, and yy to trying to find the car. Nasty arse deserves a little visit from the police.

What an awful man! Has he mistaken your dog for another in the area of the same breed/colour? I understand fully how annoyed he must be about the dog poo, but his behaviour was absolutely out of order and I'm glad you have reported him. Facebook was a good idea too. I wouldn't be too concerned about his threats. He clearly was worried about you taking his numberplate so I wouldn't think he will have another go. The vast majority of aggressive arseholes wouldn't dare carry out half the vile stuff they spew. If he DOES stop you again, keep walking while saying loudly "I am calling the Police" while dialling the number on your mobile. Don't engage with him other than that and keep moving on. Poor DD Flowers

Can you keep your phone handy with you on your walk to school and take a photo of the car/him if you see him again.

Report
GruntledOne · 05/02/2016 12:54

Next time you go out at that time, have your phone ready to take a picture of his car and number plate - also walk up to the houses to see if you recognise the car.

angryso · 05/02/2016 12:55

That is what I am going to do Lynn.

I am just angry to be honest. It is dd I am more cross for, she finds it a struggle to get to school at the best of times and now someone has made her absolutely terrified of the school walk bastard

Be careful trying to phone/film someone if you are alone. It could antagonise and things could escalate. And this character has already shown he's capable of violence towards woman and children Sad.

That said, photo, videoing when there is an audience can be a wonderful shock for bullies. It's really what YouTube was invented for.

Actually, if you see him again have a handy bagged-up (but not tied up!) dog poo that you can lob in through his open window. Nasty fecker.

What an arsehole. I'd be tempted to bag up all my dogs business and deposit it all over his car during the night - if you know where he lives. Not helpful I know but very satisfying revenge.
