As some of you may be aware I'm currently waiting to miscarry, had medical management last week which doesn't seem to have worked so now stuck in limbo.
Not been out of the house all week and now been invited to go sledging (we were fortunate to get a very heavy snow fall last night).
AIB very unreasonable in thinking just fuck it and go and enjoy myself?.
I'm really in two minds 😩.

YANBU - you're not going to speed anything along by sitting indoors waiting and, lets face it, it couldn't get much worse, so go for it. Have some fun while you can.

Will it take your mind off your situation? If yes, go. Don't know the circumstances, but very sorry this is happening to you

I've miscarried whilst out, each time I was only around 10 weeks.

What I lost was quite 'chunky' and I needed to get to a toilet (sorry). I felt as though I needed to get off my feet, afterwards.

It depends on if you can practically deal with what might happen, whilst out and not to dismiss what your experiencing, but without spoiling the day for the people you are with.

I'm so sorry you're going through this

If you feel you can deal with the consequences of it happening while out, go for it. I had 6 losses and only one was heavy enough immediately to need to be near a bathroom. The others were manageable for a couple of hours or so. So personally I'd make sure I had a decent pad on, just in case and go and enjoy myself

the physical exercise may help your body to expel the fetus (sorry that sounds very crass, but cant think of a "nice" way to word it)

also it may help you take your mind of it for a little while and I am sure the fresh air will do you good.

Sorry your going through this OP. Flowers

Go and enjoy yourself. Be prepared for what may happen but enjoy your day.

Do you have waterproof trousers? If so you could wear them over some jogging bottoms and if anything started it wouldn't be noticeable.

Best of luck.

I waited to mc, after an early scan showed my baby had died. It took two weeks. I had v light bleeding and cramping before the mc properly got underway - though when it did there was a heavy loss, enough to flood what I was wearing.

I've decided to go and have fun, can't help but feel guilty but I suppose I can do everything now, it's strange getting used to it all again. I found out I lost both of my twins at 12 weeks so it's been quite hard and I've been warned the process could be quite lengthy.
