AIBU to think that menthol has no business being anywhere near my lady parts!

That is all.... As you were...

I don't want any kind of scenty nonsense in sanitary products - it is all chemicals and I don't want them near my nethers - I thought menthol was for bunged up noses anyway ? Confused

Imagine if it is like mint shampoo, minty and cold on your foof- oh no!

I've wiped with olbas oil infused tissues in a public loo with no loo roll. It was cold and fresh. Not nippy.

Who are these (Presumably all men) who are obsessed with the idea that women should have gales of cheap scent wafting out of their pants?

If you care that much about genital perfumery stick a hydrangea up your dick and leave women alone. Weirdos.

I wouldn't normally use these things but was at a friends yesterday and came on and needed to clean up, etc.(tmi) so popped into the chemist and quickly bought liners, tamp ax and wipes! They were advertised as fragrance free! Imagine my surprise when I got the cold hit of menthol!!

Jeeeeeez no. Just no. A minty fresh vag is not some thing I've ever aspired to have!

Menthol?!

Confused

I fucking hate this scented vagina trend anyway but this one takes the wholesale. There's no way anything mint or menthol scented cannot sting.

What is the deal anyway. Who are the consumers of these scented bag products?! Every woman I know avoids them. and surely they must be entirely counter productive anyway - as in more likely to induce thrush / BV and hence nasty smells? Or is that the point and it's supposed to be a self perpetuating thing?

I was in tesco recently and struggled to find a sanitary towel that didn't have scented stuff in. Completely weird.

:) :) I was just imagining DP with a hydrangea sticking out. Perhaps I should try it!

The problem with the scented stuff is it migrates to the unscented on the shelf. I don't understand why it exists at all.

I quite like washing with the original source mint shower gel... It feels all cold and fresh. I do however agree that scented stuff near my vag is uneccasary. DP won't go down there if I'm fresh out of the shower because it doesn't have the right musk apparently Hmm

I've abandoned Bodyform as everything they make is scented and makes my chacha sting. Lil-Lets and Sainsbos own brand for me these days. Not quite such good coverage but beats feeling like my pants are full of live coals Shock

I use a mooncup for periods but I do use liners for some days in the middle of my cycle, and due to trouble in finding non-scented ones, I end up buying the value range in supermarkets.

Scented onesjust make my skin itchy, not nice at all.

It's quite popular where I live.

Apparently it burns.

I wouldn't know from first hand experience, cos with a name like that it is not being allowed anywhere near my fluffy bits.

Was it femfresh?? The first (and last) time I used one of their wipes it was quite mentholy. Horrid.

Gotta be careful with that original source shower gel Shock. I mean, it's not an unpleasant feeling....

I can't stand scented sanitary towels because they often reek of fake flowers. I don't want my vag to smell like an old lady's house, thanks.

No one has used that awful term "sanpro" yet which is the main thing....

I agree. I've never seen menthol scented ones but that would be rank. And yes, the Original Source should be banned or at least carry a warning.

What I also hate is that the vast majority of liners are made of a nylon type top sheet. It makes me sweat and itch and I think it's only Carefree that are more cotton like.

Weird thing was the wipes didn't actually smell!! But I agree there is no need for my fango to smell like a floral arrangement!

I've gone back to tampons after someone at work could "smell bleach" and I realised it was my always towels Blush I complained and got sent a letter essentially saying "tough we aren't changing them" and some vouchers.

Who the hell decided to make them smell?
