People have died from accidental inhalation of the liquid form.

Prolonged contact with the solid form of DHMO can cause irreparable tissue damage.

The liquid and gas forms can both cause severe burns.

Despite this the government allow copious amounts of it to be contained in our water supply, made available to children in schools etc

(I got banned from a FB group for pointing out that "chemical free shampoo" wasn't chemical free if it contained borax, salt etc and that everything was a chemical!)

oh bloody hell. I have a glass containing both those chemicals, though the O2 is diluted a bit with another deadly chemical CO2 which in large quantities asphyxiates you. and N2 doomed I tell you, doomed.

It can, in small amounts, be made safer by dilution with Ethylene Hydroxide, C2H5OH
