Difference in smell between thrush and BV?

I'm not sure which I have. I have green discharge after my period and I'd say the smell is not pungent but smells mildly of cheese. I'm thinking I might have both, as sometimes I get a very faint smell of fish. How do I know which one I have?

I think I would go to a gum clinic for a full screen. Just because it's the best place for the downstairs area.

thrush does not smell and is not green (its a thick white) also BV does not smell of "slight fish" its a pungent smell between fish, piss and vinegar, sorry for the TMI.

Book in with the practice nurse and get a swab taken. Green is never ok tbh. Fwiiw I do think fungal infections have a smell, but i am hyper sensitive.

It's not thrush, you must have some sort of infection, maybe Trichomaniasis? You need to see a gp ASAP

Doesn't sound like either. Thrush doesn't smell different from normal cervical mucus but discharge is cottage cheese like and the itch is unmistakable.

BV smells like rotten fish. It's strong and very unpleasant.

Sounds like you have either an sti or very early BV. A trip to the GUM is required.
