AIBU?

To think she's a flighty little tart and should make up her mind who she wants to sleep with?

Sunday and Monday, she sleeps with me Smile

Tuesday, DS works late, comes home and entices her away with promises of a fish supper Angry

Wednesday and Thursday, she comes back to me, all cute and sweet! and like the idiot I am, I forgive her flighty behaviour Sad

Then come Friday and Saturday, DP is home and I'm dumped again, for a warmer spot at his feet Sad Angry

Then we're back to Sunday and suddenly I'm the one she wants to be with!

I'm such a pushover, it only takes one look from those gorgeous eyes, and I'm in love all over again!

Are all cats as flighty, or just mine? Grin

Im afraid she might also be spreading the love around the neighbours too. You heard of six dinner sid. Yanbu. However this loose love is why you love her and forgive her. Just keep some dreamies and cat nip near you...

You are doing the "pick me dance", MrsPresley.

Get some self respect!

Keep a stash of crunchies under your pillow, she will choose you every time.

No good will come of this...your heart will be broken and the dead mice will be given to him.

If you haven't had the talk then she can do what she wants. She can have friends, you know?

Nope, they're pretty much all as bad as each other! OH rescued a kitten recently We really, really don't need a fourth cat, but he's long term sick and I've kinda overlooked this because the kitten has given him a focus.....but ohhhh we didn't need another one!!! Wink )

Bloody kitten has won my heart by being utterly gorgeous and cute and adorable, and we've been having secret snuggles when I get up to go to work. I thought I'd been accepted as number one care giver/provider of food/litter cleaner until I got home from work last night and couldn't find said kitten.......
It was tucked up IN OH's bed with him, giving him the paddy-paws massage treatment and smiling smugly at me. ....
Fickle little tart Wink

london I don't have to worry about the neighbours, she's an indoor cat, so at least that's something Smile

sanity I think I lost my self respect after that first fish supper Sad I should have been tougher and shown her the door after the first time.

Lweji do you think it's too late for "the "talk"? I want us to be exclusive, yes I know I'm being a bit possessive, I can't help it Sad

I thought we had a future together, curled up on the sofa, by my feet at night...obviously not! Angry

I just don't want her getting a reputation although I think it's too late

My dad always got the hump when I came home from uni and my cat followed me everywhere and rejected him. Then when I left he was number 1 again.

My mum and I thought it was hysterical.

You misunderstand the nature of your relationship. She's a queen and you are all merely courtiers.

The last time I polished a table with cedar oil my cf (cat friend) acted as if I was the devil incarnate. I'd sprinkle a few drops on your competitors...

But you do know these flings don't mean anything. It's purely physical. She really loves you.

Our cat only sleeps at my feet as that's where the room is!

But when she wakes, she'll sit watching over husband until he wakes.

Every little movement she's there, watching. waiting for fuss.

Occasionally if we are both awake in the early hours she'll come to me for fuss.

I know my place!Grin

Sorry OP but your only option IS to do the pick me dance - lots of cuddles, treats etc and just keep stepping up your efforts Grin

I have to admit to playing dirty, sneaky and underhand...
I'm the only one who does their food so when they are being disloyal/unfaithful I go to their food cupboard and rummage, they soon come running back to me all big eyed, cuddly and full of we only love you!

At least she only sleeps with one person a night. One of mine sleeps with DD till about 2am when he can no longer cope with her impression of an epileptic octopus and then comes to my be and wakes me to let me know he has arrived.??The sooner you recognise that you are both staff merely there to accommodate her every whim the easier life will be.Grin
