That really.

I've tried giving sainsburys stuff that is aspartame free but he keeps buying aldi own brand that has it.

What squash do people recommend? I'd like one xylitol or stevia without artificial anything or preservatives.

umm.

how old is DD?

How often is this?

you hate it, really???

00100001 · 02/09/2015 19:43

if you're that bothered - dont give her any squash. all squahs is bad.

just give her water or milk.

job done.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 02/09/2015 19:44

I agree with PP, just give milk and water.

NeedsAsockamnesty · 02/09/2015 19:45

I think he gets to choose what squash he gives her and you get to choose what squash you give her.

He is her dad in the absense of an allergy both parents gets to decide stuff like that.

He is obviously not perturbed by aspartimine

dementedpixie · 02/09/2015 19:46

It really wouldn't bother me. There is a lot of unsubstantiated scaremongering about aspartame

Blueberry234 · 02/09/2015 19:46

Bigger things to worry about in life

Witchety · 02/09/2015 19:46

This is the third thread today complaining about food ( Aldi and lidl contest or belt) and drink ( NHS coffee shops)

Is it just a bad day?

Gruntfuttock · 02/09/2015 19:47

I drink Aldi orange squash. Am I dooooomed?

JuJuMun69 · 02/09/2015 19:47

i think you hate him more :)

RabbitSaysWoof · 02/09/2015 19:47

Agree with Needs ds's df does loads I wouldn't but I know he's safe and happy there so I try not to need to know everything and just do what I think is best during my time.

wankerchief · 02/09/2015 19:47

Aldi lemon squash runs though my veins.

Ellreejee · 02/09/2015 19:48

Its a lot over two days a week. Apparently a very weak concentration.

Ha I'd love to give water, but you try that with a 2 year old that just won't drink water!

OP posts:
ilovesooty · 02/09/2015 19:48

Yes but was the conveyor belt clean when he bought it?

TelephoneIgnoringMachine · 02/09/2015 19:49

So give her water, milk, real juice mixed with water?

dementedpixie · 02/09/2015 19:49

It just really wouldn't bother me at all.

mabythesea · 02/09/2015 19:50

What's wrong with aspartame?

Witchety · 02/09/2015 19:50

Arrange to meet him at an (NHS) coffee shop to talk it over?

TelephoneIgnoringMachine · 02/09/2015 19:50

If she won't drink water, can you gradually make it weaker, until she's just on water? Don't tell her it's water though!

SurlyCue · 02/09/2015 19:51

I think 2 days a week of very weak squash is not worth getting bothered over.

Goshthatsspicy · 02/09/2015 19:52

I have a nasty feeling, that very soon- all squash will contain artificial sweetners.

00100001 · 02/09/2015 19:52

how much squash can a 2 year old really drink in two days?

wean her off the squash - it's not that hard really.

Also, if it bother you that much you'll have to provide the alternative for when she's at her dads

JuJuMun69 · 02/09/2015 19:53

A lot over 2 days a week? really. Oh OP just do what you do for the other 5 and im sure she'll be fine.

Oh, you don't live together? The two days are days she is living with him?
Fuck all you can do.
Let it go.

00100001 · 02/09/2015 19:53

Pico2 · 02/09/2015 19:55
