He's eating it like you would an apple, skin and all.

He says it's delicious, he's had two in a row now.

I have always peeled kiwis and discarded the skin, surely what he is doing is an abomination?

Aibu?

I'm a skin-eater too! Delish.

However, my DM taught me to scoop out the kiwi halves boiled egg style.

I just googled as I didn't know if the skin was edible ..I got this

"The kiwifruit skin is completely edible and makes this nutrient-dense fruit even more nutritious! A recent study shows that eating the skin triples the fiber intake compared to merely eating the flesh. And by not peeling the skin, you preserve much of the vitamin C content as well"

Clearly he is eating it in a more nutritious manner

Get rid of him reality.

Only way.

You can't live with someone who does that.

Personally, kiwis are wrong in any form.
One child has them cut in half, and uses a spoon, one has them in quartets, but still leaves the skin.
DH eats the skin.

I love eating the skin, but it makes your tongue all tingly afterwards which I don't like.

This makes me feel better about ds just biting into a satsuma- not breaking it into segments.

He did peel it though Grin

I peel them, but I feel daft about it. I could use the extra fibre in my diet and I hate food waste. It's just too darn hairy.

I once tried the skin as my boss ate them like that. Wayyy too much like eating a tarantula for my liking. Kiwis are best scooped with a spoon like a yoghurt.

What potofyoghurt says. Nobody should eat kiwis. That's the bird or the people. The fruit is kiwi fruit.

A kiwi in the UK.

I've never really liked kiwis.

Then I discovered they are related to gooseberries and that explained everything.

My eldest loves then, tends to eat them like a runny egg, lops the top off and scoops it all out with a teaspoon.
