Unless said to a dog, then it's not likely to be a compliment

NoArmaniNoPunani · 09/08/2015 19:43

Well it's not polite

Report
Boofy27 · 09/08/2015 19:44

It's not a greeting my friends and I use.

What do you reply to that?

Report
Spartans · 09/08/2015 19:48

Totally depends on who said it, their relationship with you and what context

The cheeky little fucker Shock

At 16 I think you can get away with the reply 'hello twat face!'

Grin

But then my youngest cousin was a shit. He came in and told my dbro 'wow you got fat' he didn't appreciate my response.

My bully's favourite nickname for me at school. No it's not nice, whatever the context.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 09/08/2015 19:50

It's rude.

But as I love my dogs faces it wouldn't last as an insult in my house.

The first time he did it I played again and growled, wagged my tail etc and everyone laughed. He carried on though and I told DSis to make him stop but Dsis says it's a funny way that he and his friends greet each other.

You wagged your tail?

Are you actually a dog?

Is this one of these weird thread people write from their dogs PoV?

Report
AngieBolen · 09/08/2015 19:52

Yes, " Hello twat face" is definitely the correct response to that!

mrsruffallo · 09/08/2015 19:52

sorry, that sounds wierd, I made a joke of it PRETENDED to wag my taio etc but I think he loved making everyone laugh.

Oh, OK, x-posted.

Your niece says it to you? ????

Wrong wrong wrong.

I think I would have to reply with something withering (but I can't think of anything right now!)

It's better than dog breath.

Ah I get it now Grin

So does he think you find it funny still?

At 16 you should tell him you don't like it, rather than your dsis. Especially since you took part in the joke the first time.
