To be angry at DP

this week with hot weather I fancied going to beach front apartments only in Scarborough! For couple days, DP tried to make all excuses how much! What this week! Etc. we're retired btw.

So Friday comes and he tells me he as decided to go to the Cardiff speedway GP with friend(I knew about it coming up) he then says which case should he take!! Turns out its overnight in hotel(premier inn) as its 6 hour journey to much in one day.
He rang at 4 to say he'd got there and stadium was fantastic and would ring later.

No text/call till this morning to say
He didn't get back to hotel till 12 ish had a few drinks and was stopping off at another speedway meeting at 3pm on way back home.

I'm not bothered about him going and staying over, it's the fact that when I suggested we go away for couple days he pulled his face and made excuses.
He can spend money on his own trip but not on the one I suggested.

I'm building up anger inside, and know I shouldn't as its only me that will suffer(mood wise)

I'd be annoyed as well, could you do your trip with a friend instead?

Take yourself to the beach, enjoy, laugh, eat merrily/ drink Wine. take lots of Pics and don't you dare feel guilty for spending money.

DP is back from trip.
Asked me did I watch it to which I replied yes he said it was amazing.
He then went upstairs to unpack and brought down dirty clothes to put in washer. He then went out to check his sport car! Don't me how much it was a pint and the he was pissed(only ever as 2 glasses of wine)and nearly fell down stairs and didn't get in till 12.
He then went to have shower and as now gone out for his walk round block!

I'm fuming, he never even asked what sort of weekend I've had etc and more so I spent 2 hours burning of paint round door frame and hasn't even noticed/commented!

I would book scarborough for next week (before kids finish) and tell him you are so glad he had his weekend now its your turn.
