Oil and a bit of a scrub will do it.

It's a bit of a silly thing to do but not exactly the end of the world.

I think you're overreacting a tiny bit. They soak off in the bath quite easily, gentle rub with a flannel if needed.

I think it depends on what the tattoo is. A fluffy kitten OK, skull and crossbones not so much.

I probably am a bit but I think it's a similar thing of getting your babies ears pierced and whether it's class as abuse or not. I just said to him in ouldnt of minded so much if she could talk and had asked for it. it doesn't look that nice but I know it'll wash off. I've read baby oil will get it off?

I think YABU. What harm will come of it?
They aren't the nicest things to look but it's hardly the end of the world is it?

It's flowers and belle from.beauty and the beast so nothing too hideous, sort of looks like face paint but on her arm

It's nothing like getting ears pierced! It's none permanent, didn't hurt etc ...

It's nothing like ear piercing, it's just a sticker effectively and they come off really easily...easier than when they draw on themselves with pens, lol.

Biscuit It will come off, it won't have hurt her, and she may even have liked having flowers and Belle on her arm.

Oh for god's sake calm down. How on earth can you equate it with ear piercing and possible abuse?!

Give him an eye roll an tell him what a silly arse he is, then wash it off.

K8eee · 28/06/2015 11:30

I never said a temp tattoo was child abuse. read carefully

yabu and over reacting. It's easily removed, it hasn't hurt and it's flowers! He probably thought it was sweet.

It's not even close to being like pierced ears Shock. No worse than getting paint or glue on skin. My dc's were doing painting way younger than 15 months.

It sounds nice. At least it's not permanent.

YABVU if you are comparing it to ear piercing. It's a sticker, it will come off in the wash. Would you be this wound up about facepainting?

YABU

It's a temp tattoo.

I would be pretty concerned if my husband reacted this way if I had put a temp tattoo on on of ours.

GinUpGirl · 28/06/2015 11:33

Over reacting. It is a glorified sticker.

Report
SoupDragon · 28/06/2015 11:33

Huge over reaction IMO.
