If you had to... Mumsnet or Facebook?
For me it's definitely FB.
Whilst I like it I could not cope without the wise world of mumsnet.

Mumsnet. I love Facebook, I like looking at the photos of people I actually know, hearing what they're up to, having a nosy at local restaurants, places to go etc. Mumsnet I think I could go cold turkey on.

I like all that too about FB but dislike the showing off, rants, cliques and silly politics. I could spend hours on Mumsnet and feel much happy after than after a scroll down FB time line.

Sparkling i couldn't give up Mn now. Yes you can get people rubbishing your comments (sometimes very nastly) but ive learnt so much about myself. I hope that makes us all more understanding people towards others.

ollie it is entirely possible to raise DCs without MN!
My FB is all honest, no crap or 'showing off, rants, cliques and silly politics' - MN, on the other hand, seems largely fictional at the moment.
I enjoy both, but would pick actual friends and family over MN ransoms every time if I had to.

MN.

I don't want to give up either mind! but... FB represents real life, friendships, family keeping in touch, organising RL social events etc...

I don't surround myself with the drama llama FB stereotypes, in fact I only encounter them.... in threads on MN.
