Seriously? Why would anyone be that reckess? Just why?

Catnuzzle Sun 07-Jun-15 17:29:07

I thought that too.

My father did when I was a child. He was trying to film the lions. They kept announcing our car number and telling him to wind up the window. My mother was furious.

CumberCookie Sun 07-Jun-15 17:31:26

oh yes silly her, getting killed -_-

What is the point of this thread exactly?

Feminine Sun 07-Jun-15 17:32:09

Shouldn't you just be sad someone lost their life?
You have to be pretty harsh to start a thread in my opinion.

CaTsMaMmA Sun 07-Jun-15 17:32:26

people are pricks who think rules don't apply to them

the family of that woman in the US will keep their windows up next time I am sure.

IAmAShitHotLawyer Sun 07-Jun-15 17:34:31

Of course i'm saddened that someone has lost their life.

Still don't understand how anyone can think it's ok to open their window in those circumstances though.

if that lions then attacks you

00100001 Sun 07-Jun-15 17:35:22

sympathy = 0

00100001 Sun 07-Jun-15 17:36:08

no doubt, the family will try and sue the wildlife park hmm

nocoolnamesleft Sun 07-Jun-15 17:37:30

I can understand the frustration of a dirty/smeary window impeding the ability to take the best photos of your life. But opening the car window in the presence of lions? Basically, as far as the lion is concerned, someone kindly just opened the tin of cat food.

If you are stupid, you deserve to die?
My word...

expatinscotland Sun 07-Jun-15 17:37:39

And the winner of the Poor Taste Award for 2015 goes to . . .

LaurieFairyCake Sun 07-Jun-15 17:37:42

It's NOT ok to say she 'deserved to die' angry

That's incredibly nasty.

CumberCookie Sun 07-Jun-15 17:39:39

Reported this thread, it is vile.

IAmAShitHotLawyer Sun 07-Jun-15 17:39:52

So some of you DO think it's ok to drive through a lion safari with the window open? Is that what your saying?

Feminine Sun 07-Jun-15 17:40:20

I've reported this.
I seriously can't believe anyone could be so cold.

PrawnToast12 Sun 07-Jun-15 17:41:08

What about those open type jeep cars that they use? Seen those on lots of safari parks. What an awful thread.

Feminine Sun 07-Jun-15 17:41:36

Yes, lawyer it is just perfectly fine.
I think she has learnt her lesson though eh?

Snoozybird Sun 07-Jun-15 17:41:48

No, but since when did we hand out death sentences for stupidity? Because that's what you're saying in effect.

IAmAShitHotLawyer Sun 07-Jun-15 17:41:53

I don't think its vile CumberCookie - I am asking whether people think its reasonable to drive through a lion safari with the window open.

SallyMcgally Sun 07-Jun-15 17:42:16

Poor woman - RIP.

CumberCookie Sun 07-Jun-15 17:43:21

No you are not, you are laughing at a dead woman.

LaurieFairyCake Sun 07-Jun-15 17:44:30

Obviously no one should drive through them with the windows open
