To love Eurovision

The camp glamour, the cheesy euro pop, the bizarre routines and not forgetting the hours of voting. LOVE it all.

It makes me cringe! Can't not watch it though.

I loathe it and haven't watched it for well over a decade.

I used to watch it every year. Then it dawned on me there was a massive anti-UK bias and pro-every-cunt-else bias in the voting. All irrespective of the music quality.

I used to look forward to it but now I simply can't be bothered. The genuine, neighbourly spirit of The Contest is sadly long gone.

Absolutely love it! Just nothing like it and don't care that the UK will probably never win it again.

YANBU but nothing on earth would make me watch it, worst Saturday TV night of the year. Every year DH and the DCs try to get me to watch and every year I leave the room after about two songs and don't go back, it's toe-curlingly awful.

I have a party. The songs improve immeasurably after the fourth glass of wine...

Watching the first semi final on bbc3. Mel (off of Mel and Sue) and Scott Mills are doing a great job of taking the mickey out of it all.

I love Eurovision. Smile

I started a Pinterest board to pin the Youtube videos of every UK Eurovision entry, I love it so much.

I'm planning one to do one on every winning song as well, but I haven't gotten around to that yet.

I actually like our song this year, but since Australia are taking part as a one-off it would be good if they won.

Anyone watching it now? What is this, the semi finals? This Belorussian bloke loves himself a little bit too much. The big Serbian woman was just fantastic.

I love it and now my DD (14) loves it too. We're watching the semi final and debating who will go through to Saturday. Can't wait to hear Graham Norton's commentary Grin

YANBU. I'm with cardibach - boozy party round mine on Saturday. And it's the best UK entry since the classic Knock, Knock Who's There if you ask me. I have high hopes for this year. Grin

I love it and I don't buy the whole 'political voting' sour grapes. I remember one year where some really weird Balkan entry got high votes from their neighbours and everyone was bitching about it as the song wasn't that good. One of my colleagues was from that region and she said the words were hysterical and brilliant and the neighbouring countries would have understood the language and that's why they gave the points.

Yeah, the voting is as dodgy as, but I totally love Eurovision and all its naffness.

We're having a party with friends round at ours. Sweepstake for the winning team and Eurovision bingo for all the cheesy things Grin

Should be a good laugh, with lots of alcohol involved.
