It's worth scrolling down to see the tattooed hunk with his tongue stuck out Envy

YABU to use British and English as if they were interchangeable.

YANBU for the sentiment of your comments.

FarFromAnyRoad · 28/02/2015 23:46

Was this a UKIP demonstration?

NurseNancyatToyHospital · 01/03/2015 10:13

The yobs call themselves Pegida - Patriotic Europeans against the Islamisation of the West

Hmm I'm british but not English can I still be proud?

miniavenger · 01/03/2015 10:20

Why does one of them appear to be screaming at a bewildered horse?

SunnyBaudelaire · 01/03/2015 10:21

btw British and English are not the same thing. I know I am not the first to say it but it really annoys me.

SirChenjin · 01/03/2015 10:22

I believe George Galloway is Scottish. British and English are not the same thing - perhaps you would change your thread title to take account of fact?

Yes, it was a good thing that British people made a stand.

SunnyBaudelaire · 01/03/2015 10:22

and why would you assume that everyone on this forum is 'English' anyway.

mrsruffallo · 01/03/2015 10:24

I am English. There are twats of all nationalities. I am not sure why i should feel ashamed.

mrsruffallo · 01/03/2015 10:25

Don't like george galloway much either

SirChenjin · 01/03/2015 10:26

No-one likes George Galloway. That doesn't excuse the title of the thread.

SunnyBaudelaire · 01/03/2015 10:27

and what does it have to do with Farage please?

SlaggyIsland · 01/03/2015 10:28

Those people look a bit.... devolved.

PacificDogwood · 01/03/2015 10:33

Another reason not to be proud to be German - Pegida was started in Dresden, of all cities SadAngry. Bastards.

No love lost here for George Galloway here either, but at least he was there.

MrsPeterQuill · 01/03/2015 10:34

Neither side came out of that well tbh.

And Galloway is an arsehole of the highest order.

Not sure what it's got to do with Farage either.

PacificDogwood · 01/03/2015 10:36

Those people look a bit frightening IMO.

PacificDogwood · 01/03/2015 10:36

Or rather very frightening.

TywysogesGymraeg · 01/03/2015 10:44

People who interchange British and English piss me off. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING. It's only the English who do this - typical English arrogance.
There is a sizable minority of British people who are not English. Please stop using the two words to mean the sane thing, its really annoying.

mrsruffallo · 01/03/2015 10:45

Was Farage there? Don't understand the connection.

SirChenjin · 01/03/2015 10:47

Presumably because Farage supports Pegida (I have no idea if this is the case, I'm only surmising) and wouldn't want to see anyone standing up to them

SunnyBaudelaire · 01/03/2015 10:48

that could be libellous sirchenjin I am sure Farage is more intelligent than that.

I LIKE GALLOWAY

mrsruffallo · 01/03/2015 10:54

Does Farage support Pegida?

SunnyBaudelaire · 01/03/2015 10:56

we have no evidence to suggest that mrsruffalo AFAIK but there is the usual lazy lefty lumping together of anyone who doesnt agree with them.
