to wish there were some good news somewhere

I opened up Facebook - just got lots of depressing/serious stuff (I get Mother Jones stories, and some right-on friends link to climate change/ save the NHS/ etc).
I go on a couple of other websites (news ones) I use to find something cheerful to post, or at least read - including on here - and I can't find anything!
Can someone point me in the direction of good news (please, not upworthy or cute overload, they are just too formulaic and American-centred)?

I second Nynaeve positive news is great, they are on Facebook too, and I love getting their stuff in my feed as it makes a change from the usual grim stories that we are surrounded by every day!
