To think Kate Moss doesn't need to do this to support breast cancer charity

It's demeaning women for her to pose like this and I would imagine that a woman who has had a mastectomy wouldn't appreciate Kate's perky breasts coming out in sympathy.

I agree. Kate Moss gives me the rage anyway though, can't stand her.

treaclesoda · 01/10/2014 19:51

arf at 'her posing skills' . Yes, standing still and pouting is such a skill.

I hate these 'Ooh, famous lady adopts risqué pose to raise awareness of breast cancer' things. We're all aware of breast cancer, sadly, we don't need to be patronised.

TheRealAmandaClarke · 01/10/2014 19:53

Yanbu.

Suzannewithaplan · 01/10/2014 19:55

using breast cancer as a vehicle to remind us of her perfect tits, yep that's really tactful Hmm

bobbyjo · 01/10/2014 19:56

Yanbu. Any chance to look all sexy, even the most inopportune times. So predictable too. Really fed up of marketing people thinking we think things like this are great. Much rather have something with real people and real stories, not airfluff.

ithoughtofitfirst · 01/10/2014 20:00

Articles opening with bullet points.

That's handy.

LadyLuck10 · 01/10/2014 20:01

Yanbu, very hypocritical of her given she's a smoker too.

Spaceboundeminem · 01/10/2014 20:03

Yanbu.

noblegiraffe · 01/10/2014 20:07

She does not look like that these days.

AnyFucker · 01/10/2014 20:11

That pic is photo shopped to fuck

TheTrueVoiceOfReason · 01/10/2014 20:14

Does smoking cause breast cancer?

Flipflops7 · 01/10/2014 20:16

YANBU, tactless campaign.

PunkrockerGirl · 01/10/2014 20:16

Smoking is a risk factor.

Thebodyloveschocolateandwine · 01/10/2014 20:16

She looks nothing like that in RL either.

She's a pita and Stella Mc Cartneys designs are tragic.

Wonder how she did so well in her career?

AnyFucker · 01/10/2014 20:17

smoking is a contributory factor in developing any kind of cancer here

Onedropoflove · 01/10/2014 20:17

Stella must've okayed it though. Kates best friend died of breast cancer. So did her friends mother. I'm sure her heart is in the right place.

McFox · 01/10/2014 20:20

That's pathetic, patronising and Kate Moss can do one, she's so overrated and pointless.

AnyFucker · 01/10/2014 20:22

how does kate getting her tits out (again, yawwwn ...) raise awareness of breast cancer ?

will this start a stupid viral thing where dumb women pose on FB with a pink ribbon perched on their nipples...

God save us from that

WD41 · 01/10/2014 20:25

Yanbu

Bakeoffcakes · 01/10/2014 20:27

Christ she's so cool isn't she not

I just hope they don't ask her to pose for cervical cancer!

weebarra · 01/10/2014 20:28

Yup. I miss my boobs. I don't want to see anyone else's.

LadyLuck10 · 01/10/2014 20:28

AF I didn't even think about that, hopefully that doesn't become the new craze.
She really is the wrong person to raise awareness, someone who most people could not relate to (a supermodel ffs), and what's with the whole sexing up of this photo. If anything it would make someone going through it feel worse.

Yanbu

Has she ever posed with her mouth closed?

DecisionsDecisionss · 01/10/2014 20:40

Yanbu.

Toooldtobearsed · 01/10/2014 20:42

Speaking as a breast cancer survivor (so far), who has had a double mastectomy, this really, seriously, head batteringly pisses me off.
The whole pink thing does too, but that's another matter.

How many women look at her perfect, pert boobs and think 'oh, I must check my breasts for lumps and bumps'

I seethe with jealousy at anyone has two perfectly good boobs. My reconstruction is .....okay ish, when wearing clothes. Naked, it is ugly.

Show the reality please - it would be a far better trigger.

Oh, and if Stella REALLY wants to help, pretty bras for post surgery would be very welcome.
