My DC are the only thing I keep sane for.

I am sick of every day in pain, if it's not my knees it my stomach if it is not that it tinnitus. I also have arthritis.

I am tired and just want to sleep, but all above keeps me awake.

I'm 28 but feel like I am a OAP, I have been on the sick for 8'weeks. I am not a bright person so no chance to retrain.

I'm a mess.

I did'nt want to run, but Piper big hugs Flowers, you are awfully brave. I am sure someone will be on here with some very good advice.

I really don't know why I posted tbh. Just taken my medication and I really feel like my kids deserve better.

I want to run around the park with them, instead of hobbling along while they both go on bikes/scooters.

Well AIBU is a good place to vent sometimes, and plus you probably will find people who are going through similar

My dh is a brilliant dad, he suffers from gout, rheumatoid arthritis, and loads of other conditions, that mean he can't do physical things with our dc. He is an amazing dad. Of course you want to be the best parent that you can, but I'd say the physical side is not the be all to being a good parent. Give yourself a break!

Are you getting decent care for your arthritis? There are some brilliant new drugs out now (bio logics) they are expensive but can be funded for those in severe pain who aren't responding to conventional therapies. Better care and meds could make all the difference to your quality of life.

I'm a bit sick of my life at the moment too - it's a really shitty way to feel. My problems are not as tough as yours so I won't compare my shitty feelings to yours but you have my sympathy. Sometimes life just seems bleak and repetitive and out of your control.

My guess though is that your children love the bones of you and couldn't wish for a better mom Flowers

If your bloods show inflammation then you should push for a rheumatologist referral, not just GP care. You need help from the experts if anti inflammatories aren't enough. Sorry for what you are suffering.

I can sympathise. I have Hashimoto's (autoimmune thyroid), and when in the midst of a flare, I can barely function. I'm swollen, achy, moody, can't think, stomach problems, sleep problems, carry about a stone of fluid retention, and do not have any energy to run around with my three-year-old. It's wretched. Thankfully I'm under the care of a great endocrinologist, and after five long months of being this way, I've finally swung into a normal thyroid zone and feel like myself again. It's a lifelong situation, there'll always be swings, but I refuse to give in to this condition.

I echo what others have said. Get a referral to a rheumatologist. You sound autoimmune to me.
