As title really, its tomorrow and chatting to him now, but its going to be a disaster. I've been sucked in by a pretty face. Am I being too picky?

Go! He may surprise you, if not nothing lost.

Fairylea · 14/09/2014 20:57

Tinned soup is ok!

The Berlin thing not so much. Shock

Could be some interesting discussions! Confused

YouTheCat · 14/09/2014 20:57

How old is he?

I ask because I think Geography teaching has changed rather a lot. A friend of my dd has an A level in it and didn't know where Cyprus is.

hmc · 14/09/2014 20:57

No, you're are not being too picky. Bin him

WorraLiberty · 14/09/2014 20:57

YANBU

The relationship is doomed, especially when he finds out you don't use apostrophes when you type Grin

Give it a go. You might hit it off.

Bunbaker · 14/09/2014 20:58

What's a tinder date?

hmc · 14/09/2014 20:59

Oh go on then - I've changed my mind. Give him a whirl - just keep your expectations low.

MorrisZapp · 14/09/2014 20:59

Soup aye.

Berlin naw.

Maybe it's Joey Essex? He's single again now isn't he..... Grin

notagainffffffffs · 14/09/2014 21:00

Unless youre perfect too you should go.

hmc · 14/09/2014 21:00

Tinned soup though....and where precisely did he think Berlin was then? Shock

WarblingOyster · 14/09/2014 21:00

Give it a go! Could be fun. My geography is crap, doesn't mean I'm shit Sad

Depends what flavour soup it was though.

Mintyy · 14/09/2014 21:00

Tinder date?

Not everyone on Mumsnet is an internet dater, would be nice if you could remember that.

ADishBestEatenCold · 14/09/2014 21:01

"What's a tinder date?"

I was going to ask that?

sarahighseas · 14/09/2014 21:02

Well he has tinned soup for lunch, with crisps and chocolate. He's 22, surely he should know about where Berlin is?

He's only ever been on holiday to Spanish islands too.

Seriously -
If you are so small minded, don't go, give him a chance of meeting someone nice

ithoughtofitfirst · 14/09/2014 21:03

tinned soup??

LapsedPacifist · 14/09/2014 21:03

Pretty face is just fine and if he's a bit dim, well he won't be able to talk much when you're sitting on it.

Tinned soup? Phone for a takeaway instead.

Nothing wrong with dating someone cute but not the sharpest knife in drawer! Smile

Shockers · 14/09/2014 21:04

Did you ask what he was having for lunch, or did he say, I really enjoy a bowl of Heinz oxtail on a regular basis?

The Berlin thing... if he's lovely otherwise, travel with him Wink.

WorraLiberty · 14/09/2014 21:04

What the fuck do his holidays have to do with you? Confused

I can't work out if you're being serious or tongue in cheek.

I hope it's the latter.

Mintyy · 14/09/2014 21:04

I'm beginning to think you were made for each other op.

I love tinned soup! Mmmmmm

Flexibilityisquay · 14/09/2014 21:06

What on earth is wrong with tinned soup? I can understand you being slightly concerned by the Berlin thing, but you never know, that may have been just a bit of a brain fart!

NuggetofPurestGreen · 14/09/2014 21:06

What's wrong with tinned soup?!
