Have taken DD for her first day of primary school today. She very excited and pleased to go. DH was with me and when I was in tears on the way home was asked whats wrong is it more of your self inflicted drama?
I did reply that no I was just upset because our last child had just started school but apparently thats a good thing and I shouldnt be upset according to him.
I know its a good thing, I am pleased that she is happpy etc but having been a sahm for years am i not allowed a few tears on the 1st day school.? All I wanted was a hug, without having to ask for it but instead I was told I had a bad attitude.
Because on the way home from school we were driving out of a carpark, a man was starting to cross in front of us and he paused. DH just drove on and I suggested that it was rude, he could have let the man continue walking across. No other cars were about. DH told me that the highway code says the man has to give way/wait for him so why is he rude for just following the highway code.?

Suggest the wank badger reads the highway code before he kills someone.

He sounds horrible. Is he always like this, or is he normally ok, because he seems insensitive to you and potentially fatal to others.

YANBU - it is my first child's first day at school in a couple of weeks and I already know that I will shed a few tears, some of the parents are even planning to meet up for lunch on that day to take our minds off it. I cant imagine how I would feel doing it for the last time.

I don't think there is anything you can do about your DH now but wanted you to know that you are definitely NOT BU and that I for one am in the same boat as you Flowers

Highway code states that pedestrians have right of way. Always.
