Buy a bloody small bra!! These days I am probably sporting a 32/34aa (at a stretch) and I JUST want to find a bra that gives some oomph but doesn't gape. All the 'names' yes Ultimo and wonderbra I am looking at you don't go small enough and I don't want to resort to a boob job.

There are a few online retailers but I want to go into a shop and be properly fitted and feel womanly for once in my god damn life!!! I don't care what it costs, anything is better than implants, but where to go?? And please don't say M&S they are a crock of shite too

I second Hazelnutts advice, measure yourself and see what it comes up with. Chances are you'll be a smaller back and bigger cup. Bra fitting for 4 years and I've never seen a true 34AA.

Definitely measure following the guide linked to and maybe post In style & beauty for expert advice. I've always worn an A cup but the lovely ladies over there gave me a "bra intervention" and I've gone from a 36A to a 30D!! Seems impossible but it's true. Try it - You will be amazed

Will also post in Style & Beauty, although can't see my two aspirins on an ironing board getting much past an A!! Will also buy a proper tape measure and test out the theory on that link, thanks. Tried to do it myself once with one of those hard, retractable measurers. I wouldn't recommend it

Struckonthebaby you just reminded me of the time I attempted to measure baby DD's head with one of those retractable tape measures, I was ordering her a custom made hat and it did NOT end well. It only occurred to me after I had finally for the measurement that I could have used a piece of string and saved us both some trauma

I'm not sure about that better bra campaign Hazle, I've just done it and come up as a 30D at a tight measurement and a 30E at a loose measurement. I actually have really well fitting bras in an 34A. I'm really definitely not a 30D or E!

I second/third/fifth rigby and peller. They're excellent. Fitted me after preg and breast feeding and it was remarkable. They were wonderful and I have been so much better since.

Interestingly I have a much smaller back measurement than I have ever been measured with before. That is because most retailers don't stock lower than 32 backs and so they will never measure smaller than that. Worth noting!

awsomer, but go and try some 30's on, see how they fit. You would be one of the hundreds of women who have gone from 34/36A to a much better fitting 30D/E or thereabouts.

Definitely measure yourself or get measured properly. M&s always measured me as a 34 b. I decided to measure myself by using an on line guide on how to do it and measure a 28dd. I actually buy a 30 d now as I found the 28 a bit uncomfortable so went up a back size and down a cup size and they fit much better.

OP - I thought my 36/38 D/DD bras fitted me perfectly ..... apparently not as well as my 32Gs now do!

Try Boux Avenue - they have good fitting knowledge and a nice variety of bras.

I went from a 36A to a 32D thanks to a bra intervention. I'm a size 14 if you're a size 6 then 26 is perfectly plausible

I was wearing the wrong size bras for YEARS. I was measured in several different places and always came up a 34B. I'm a size 10 and have not tiny, but not huge boobs.

A friend with a bit of knowledge on the subject suggested I try a 28 DD. I did and I have never looked back! The cleavage I get from wearing the right size bra is amazing! A DD cup doesn't necessarily mean huge breasts. Far from it! I'd say I'm still smaller than average, but the high street shops have all got it wrong. Trying to actually buy a 28DD is not much fun. The shops can go down to size 6, but still expect 32 to be the smallest back size of the majority of women. It's just not true.

I'm a 34aa and have a nightmare finding bras too!!! Every now and again, La Senza bring out a range of really well fitting bras, so I'll stock up :) I've had a couple of bikinis from maxcleavage.com which I love so you could maybe try their range of bras.
