So following the news coverage of one of his reps asking a girl to suck cocks to win a free 'Holiday', he has said that it was nothing to do with him and the girl was disgusting and badly brought up. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2687338/Carnage-boss-Magaluf-sex-act-party-blames-teens-upbringing-behaviour.html

Have a look at their Twitter feed: twitter.com/Carnagemagalluf they retweet 'What kind of person gives 24 bj's on holiday for a drink?! disgusting is an understatement @Carnagemagalluf #slag' and are basically totally gleeful about it until showing up to a press conference scared they might lose their licence and blaming the girl for doing exactly what she was told by them.

I question all those involved.

Firstly I blame these so called men, why did they get thier cocks out.
Then I am puzzled in why a young adult would do this, it's not normal behaviour.
Most of all I blame the bar owner, why the fuck is he encouraging this behaviour for the sake of a free drink called holiday

AgaPanthers · 11/07/2014 04:03

They got their cocks out because they were told to. Or in some cases because someone was forceably pulling their trousers down.

According to their website, people on these binge drinking sessions get unlimited free shots anyway. They are marketing themselves as providing debauchery, which is fine of itself, except that the people of Majorca don't think so, and because the company then claim to be disgusted when having promised debauchery, they get it.

i agree with him...why should he be held responsible for her lack of self respect? i've seen the video and although she is drunk she is perfectly aware of what she is doing - at one point she is gesturing to one of the guys to pull his shorts down! she wasn't 'forced' to do anything, she CHOSE to do it and all for a freebie! it's disgusting! and he's right, the onus for responsibility should be on her and her parents.

this kind of free for all debauchery has been going on for years, so blame the organisers and the town council for allowing and condoning this kind of behaviour. the only reason the mayor has spoken up and changed the law surrounding pub crawls is because this story has gone global. note that they haven't outlawed organised pub crawls - too much money involved in that you see....

so whilst i would hold the organisers and town council responsible for encouraging this kind of behaviour i would not expect anyone - except for the individual involved - to be held responsible for her actions.

CoffeeTea103 · 11/07/2014 07:32

^^ agree.

She was clearly enjoying herself and even beckoning for men to drop their pants. She is totally responsible for her actions, she isn't some poor girl being taken advantage of. Her morals are in question, many people have gotten that drunk but haven't resorted to get disgusting behaviour.

JohnnyBarthes · 11/07/2014 08:46

Yanbu.

LGJ · 11/07/2014 08:47

They all have the morals of alley cat.

MrsWedgeAntilles · 11/07/2014 08:59

At work I deal with people coming back from these types of holidays all the time. The levels of regret, fear and shame that they show are massive. Most of the people I see wouldn't behave like this at home but on holiday, among a group of people all being urged to do these kinds of things and being plied with alcohol to lower their inhibitions, people do things that they otherwise wouldn't. Group mentality is a strong driver, especially when you are younger.

Like Twizzle said, we all need to take responsibility for our own actions but a bit of compassion for someone who clearly got caught up in the atmosphere and had a moment of madness wouldn't go amiss either.

The bastard reps knew exactly what was going on, they whipped up the frenzy, they were in a position of responsibility. They, and the company behind them should be taking some responsibility for this.
If Paul Smith is so disgusted by what happened perhaps he should shut his company down or change his business model but he won't because he's making too much money from people he labels as "disgusting" and "sluts".

Finola1step · 11/07/2014 09:01

He has a responsibility to ensure that his customers are safe while on one of his events.

He has a responsibility to ensure that his staff do not encourage others to break the law or do so themselves.

He is not responsible for the behaviour of adults if they acted purely of their own accord.

Therefore, this man and his company should be investigated by the local police because it would appear that they are encouraging and enabling others to break local indecency laws. Very few countries tolerate indecent exposure of this kind in public.

The bar owner and/or licensee should be investigated over permitting indecent exposure on his or her premises.

The morals of all involved are for the individuals to be concerned with. That said, if I was the mother of one of the men in this debacle, there would be very strong conversations and I would be deeply ashamed.

Finola1step · 11/07/2014 09:03

I would also be deeply ashamed if I was the mother of one of the reps involved in this.

DownstairsMixUp · 11/07/2014 09:07

He sounds like a twat to be honest, I agree. I do wonder why on earth sucking 24 dicks would appeal to anyone tbh and I say that to having done the whole going out and getting hammered. I did some silly things one night stand wise maybe in the privacy of my own home at 18 but I would never ever have done anything like that at that age.

flipchart · 11/07/2014 09:08

finola I would go further than that and say I would deeply ashamed if I was the mother of anyone of them involved from the girl, lads, rep, bar owners, the whole dammlot of them tbh.

Finola1step · 11/07/2014 09:23

Yes Flip I have to agree. Everyone involved, including her friends, should be ashamed.

I had many a hair raising night in my late teens and 20's. but there was a golden rule between us girls. Putting it simply, we never left one on their own, never got dodgy cabs, and if we thought one was getting into a sticky position, we would wade in. We kept an eye on each other which kept us safe. I am of course assuming that the girl in question was on this bar crawl with friends.

This situation would not have come out if nowhere. There will have been all sorts of behaviour and decisions that led up to it. Did at no point one of her friends step in? How sad.

Mybigfatredwedding · 11/07/2014 09:26

The only people I feel sorry for in all this are the parents of the girl and the poor bloke in the video who clearly did not want to take part and was basically sexually assaulted.

I also feel a tiny bit sorry for the girl in terms of the fact that if she had been a bloke sucking a load of boobs or something it wouldn't have even made the news and the bloke certainly wouldn't be being called a 'disgusting slut' or whatever.

But ultimately, if you are going to give two dozens blokes a blow job in public, especially in this day and age, then really you just have to suck up the consequences (pardon the pun!)

AskBasil · 11/07/2014 09:28

I don't think your basic premise can be argued with really, he is a bog standard misogynist hypocrite.

dawndonnaagain · 11/07/2014 09:29

This sort of thread just shows me how women are women's worst enemies.

Mybigfatredwedding · 11/07/2014 09:35

Oh but also YANBU OP, that guy is a prize dick.

In the video doesn't the DJ say 'we are carnage, this is what we do'!

What, encourage girls to suck off multiple blokes in public? I think you need to find a bit more of a purpose in life, mate.

Finola1step · 11/07/2014 09:36

How Dawn?

Batmansbuttocks · 11/07/2014 09:42

He sounds like an utter knob but this is and has been going on with British tourists in these holiday resorts for years.

Young women and men shagging tens and sometimes hundreds of partners during their holiday, often in group sex/public situations.

And shock horror lots and lots of women (and men obviously but this issue is mostly about the woman involved) go BECAUSE of the free sex/socially acceptable promiscuity situation.

I went on an 18-30s holiday many years ago and the things I saw still haunt me. My friend taking it in 3 holes in the toilet of a pub we had just got in to, with strange men. She shagged over 50 men (that she remembered, no condoms) and loved every minute.

I saw similar things to the YouTube video, although not as blatant but blowjobs and sex were happening everywhere all the time involving virtual strangers.

My sex loving friend went on lots and lots of 18-30 holidays at the time and loved every second. She is in her 40s now and has no regrets I'm pretty sure.

I hated it but saw NO coercion. Just people making vile choices that I wouldn't make.

Pagwatch · 11/07/2014 09:44

I agree with most of what Finola has posted.

NigellasDealer · 11/07/2014 09:46

well I used to spend weeks and weeks on party islands getting shitfaced but guess what never gave anyone a BJ Smile - we are all responsible for ourselves.

Mybigfatredwedding · 11/07/2014 09:46

My friend taking it in 3 holes in the toilet of a pub we had just got in to, with strange men.

Shock Shock Shock

I had some, um, 'fairly promiscuous' friends in my younger days, but we never got up to anything even near this kind of scale!

Mybigfatredwedding · 11/07/2014 09:48

And yes, if one of my friends had started doing this in a club I would have gone over to her and had a quiet word along the lines of 'Hun, it might be time we called it a night..........'

I agree with Finola too. A nasty episode in all their lives, although by the sound of things this goes on all the time on this type of holiday, so not quite sure why this case is singled out by the media.

LadyGnome · 11/07/2014 09:56

Batman
I think that your friend is different. There was nobody encouraging her to do it, no one tricked her into it or misled her, there was no group frenzy egging her on. She was doing things for nobody's entertainment but her own.

Women have as much "right" to be promiscious as men (although it is judged differently by some parts of society) as long as it is a free choice made when they are in a state where they are capable of making a choice.

I think Finola is right about the role of the company in this.

flipchart · 11/07/2014 09:57

finola I meant to include friends! We used to look out for each other when we were on a night out. If one was getting a bit carried away mates would step in to stop one of us making a fool of ourselves.
