Is this fair? I mean, why should preferential treatment be given to this pair when us minions aren't allowed to take our children on holiday in school time? Angry

indeed.

mind you, the fine would have to be multiplied a lot to make the same impact!

Are his ds school age. The little one is only 1 and I'm sure the other isn't five yet. Could be wrong through

Do the Rooneys send their children to state school or private? If the latter, there's your answer.

I expect they will just pay the fines as they have lots and lots of money.

Are the Roooney boys in full time education?

I thought eldest was 4ish?

I don't know anything about it.
Did they not get a fine like others in the LA then?
Are they not at public school?

Littlefish · 09/07/2014 21:57

Their children have probably broken up already, therefore no preferential treatment is being given.

Private schools finished a couple of weeks ago, I'm guessing that's why.

How do you know he is allowed, maybe he just said 'fuck it' and took them!

Maybe they are home educated...

Stop bloody judging everyone elses lives

But their child isn't school aged yet. And even ifhe was I imagine he would be at private school and therefore ve finished for the holidays now anyway.

Kai was born in November 2009 so would start school in September this year.

How about you get your facts right before getting your knickers in a twist over nothing that concerns you??

Neither of them are old enough for school are they

  • and if they are they no doubt go to private school, many of these have broken up already ...

The oldest would start reception this September,
So you need to hold your aibu for a whole year Smile

They aren't in State school, though are they?

I think YABU, money solves some issues and education is one of them, easy to make up, any time lost when you can pay for it.

Do their kidseven go to state schools? And if not, do private schools have the same fines? They sometimes have longer holidays in private schools anyway don't they?

Besides, it doesn't bother me. Why does it bother you so much?

Just googled and the eldest was born in nov 09 so will not be at school yet.

CiderwithBuda · 09/07/2014 21:59

The younger one is unlikely to be at school yet.

The older one is most likely in a private school and (1) they broke up a few weeks ago and (2) they don't fine. Be a bit counter productive!

Don't be so pathetic picking on them and their children without knowing facts. A little less worrying about other people's business and more on your own life Hmm

TwentiethCenturyGirl · 09/07/2014 22:00

Pretty sure that neither of the Rooney's boys are school age.

I wish I didn't know that info - clearly too much sidebar of shame action going on...

The school can't actually stop you. They can fine you though. But they won't bar the way as you drag the kids off screaming to Disney :-D

I took mine out for a two week holiday.
We had a great time Smile

I don't think his oldest is in school yet.
Even if he is, the Rooney's aren't the only rich and famous couple to go on holiday in term time.
