If a Jammie Dodger isn't a typical biscuit then what is?!

Fideliney Sun 15-Jun-14 21:06:24

I think OP it is the type of biscuit a typical woman with typical reproductive ambitions would typically enjoy smile

gordyslovesheep Sun 15-Jun-14 21:08:02

or this one

Physically I am perfectly able to have biscuits but for some inexplicable reason I don't. Just like Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Anniston, I've chosen not to waste my beautiful genes on a humble biscuit.

Squashed fly biscuits are Garibaldis.

I'm rather partial to a fig roll. Or, when I can get them, Botham's of Whitby Shah ginger biscuits.

Fideliney -very funny grin

I think it is the sort of biscuit that a modern day Galileo would not mistake for a flower.

Cakes on the other hand...I have lots of those. nom nom nom nom nom

I make a mean shortbread finger

HesterShaw Sun 15-Jun-14 21:11:57

Digestive, rich tea, gingernut.

Chippednailvarnish Sun 15-Jun-14 21:11:58

If you can't tell a jammy dodger from a flower, you clearly have bigger problems then the contents of Cameron Diaz's uterus.

My choice would be a Jaffa cake.

Fideliney Sun 15-Jun-14 21:12:01

You may be beautiful but are you rich?

RiverTam Sun 15-Jun-14 21:15:32

dark chocolate digestive, and it has to be McVitie's.

Not all that keen on 'real' Jammie Dodgers, prefer the fake ones you get in family selections. Real ones are too shortbready.

Rich Tea
Custard Cream
Bourbon Cream
Malted Milk

Meloria Sun 15-Jun-14 21:17:53

I'm stinking rich. I'm richer than the Queen. I'm even richer than Elizabeth I.

Chippednailvarnish Sun 15-Jun-14 21:19:07

I'm now daydreaming about bouquets of Jammy dodgers in vases around my house.

Chippednailvarnish Sun 15-Jun-14 21:20:22

But are you following the teachings of Galileo when deciding on whether to have children?

I'm daydreaming of noblice

Meloria Sun 15-Jun-14 21:21:07

I've heard noblice were very popular in Tudor times.

Fideliney Sun 15-Jun-14 21:21:17

But Elizabeth I didn't even marry!

Are you a cobwebby spinster? That would explain your inability to eat biscuits I think.

katese11 Sun 15-Jun-14 21:21:40

I actually find jammy dodgers a bit dry. .. chocolate hobnobs are the best but I'd agree digestive was the "typical" biscuit

Lorialet Sun 15-Jun-14 21:22:22

Shortbread fingers, coconut rings, Nice biscuits smile

Meloria Sun 15-Jun-14 21:22:42

You've found me out! I'm a ginger Miss Havisham, stalking the biscuit aisle in a huge Tudor-style ruff.

Lorialet Sun 15-Jun-14 21:23:52

Choco Leibniz!
