I just love my bed. So much that it stops me from wanting a future relationship..I don't think I can share it! The only exceptions are my very young ds if they sneak in for an early morning cuddle..

I wouldn't part with DH but I love having the bed to myself.

He is at the pub tonight and I have been in bed an hour. Have changed the bedding, had a bath, put the electric fan on and am lying here with a cold drink, spread out, duvet just over my feet, in the dark with my ipad. Bliss.

He will come in, strip off, get into bed, radiate heat like something nuclear, wrap himself round me and breathe on me or want to talk to me.

I love my quiet, cool bed.

I love DH too but if it came to a choice...........?

I love my DH but I'm another one who loves having the bed to myself!!

I love sprawling out and enjoying all the space!!

It irritates me when he's next to me in bed and breathes on me!! I have to sleep with my back to him or I just get pissed off Grin

We currently have a newish baby (11 weeks) and when DS first wakes in the night, anywhere between 3-5am, DH will get up and do the nappy change and then retreat to the spare room. As soon as DS is settled I make use of all the space and I just LOVE it. I lie diagonally across the bed and stick my feet out the side of the quilt and I sleep so soundly Smile

I love my dh of course I do, but on the occasional nights he is away for work I always go to bed early and throughly enjoy having the bed to myself. I adore my bed. It was the best purchase we made when we moved to our new house, we splashed out a nice bed with a really good mattress. It's the best I've ever slept in.

I dream of winning the lottery and having separate rooms/beds.

DP snores, farts and fidgets all night.

If you have a spare room and love it, why don't you?

There's no law that says you HAVE to sleep together!

We have separate rooms, totally works for us.

I think I need a partner with his own house! I did try with a slightly more than friend a few months ago.. The cuddle was nice but then reawakening to snoring and duvet hogging was almost traumatic! So much so that I went and slept on the sofa bed just so to be able to lie horizontally!

ICan, it's hard to say really, as we haven't slept in the same bed since ummm 2011ish? We don't have sex often but I think that's partly just that we're older, and have a new baby girl (she was conceived on holiday!)

I am the opposite- I don't sleep well alone.

I would like to have my own bathroom that DH never crossed the threshold of.

No smells
No hairs everywhere after his shaving
No towels slopping around
No toothpaste all over
No on talking to e when I am in the bath

Tidiness
Lovely bath things
Peace and quiet

YANBU, I'm sure that the main reason I am happily single is because I can take over the bed whenever I want. Apart from cats of course Blush

I would love to have a bed to myself but DH claims he can't sleep if I'm not there Hmm

I love the 20 minutes every morning after DH gets up and i get the bed to myself! I turn over, face the middle, and SPRAWL!!!!

I hate it if in the middle of the night i turn inwards and thrn he does and we are face to face and he is breathing

Dh is asleep on the sofa right now, breathing and farting Blush I will sneak out in a while & hope he stays there for most of the night. He has a broken nose and even when he's not snoring he breathes so frigging loudly! Drives me insane and I would LOVE to have separate rooms ..

I enjoy sleeping on my own too.
The worst is when you turn over to face the inside of the bed and horror! DP is already facing that way and you have to face his breath!
I love hearing him sneak to the spare room Grin

When DC3 was born (a winter baby) I got fed up with being freezing when I breastfed her in bed at night. We started using separate quilts. It was a godsend. I could wrap my quilt around my back and feed in comfort and without disturbing DH. He could get up at 4am for work without disturbing me. Baby is a toddler in her own room and no longer feeds at night but the quilt each has remained.
Worth trying before resorting to separate beds or rooms. The only downside is it is hard to make the bed in the morning!

Good idea, Lego. We do that when camping as I can't share an air bed and a sleeping bag with him, never thought to do it at home though!

I have it sussed though, we do have separate houses, so I get to share a bed with him a few times a week, then have it all to myself the rest of the time. Bliss. I even choose to stay at home alone some nights when my DCs aren't here as I know I'll get woken up by his DCs coming into his bed in the morning if I go to his house. He thinks I'm a bit mean for putting my sleep before him, but gosh I love sleep and my lie-ins are so precious!

Dd sometimes sneaks into my bed before I go up, I always think "oh it won't be too bad, I'll leave her there" and then regret it when she wallops me in the face in her sleep, grinds her teeth and fidgets all night long.
