AIBU?

To be eyeing up DD's squeezy slushy maker for a G&T slushy?

In the spirit of scientific experiment you understand.

DH says AIBU and I need to buy my own before sullying a child's drinking vessel. I say a bit of Fairy liquid and she will never know.

Do it.
And if you have a soda stream, run the gin through that and have a fizzy martini.

But fizzy milk is a no.

They wash, don't they? Hope it's in the freezer already. Scientific endeavour should always be applauded. Get some ice cubes ready for a substitute G & T in case the experiment doesn't quite come off.

Then let us know what it tastes like Grin

Perfectly reasonable use of available equipment IMHO.

If DD didn't want it used for scientific experiements she shoud have put it awayWink

Right, that's the slushy maker in freezer, tonic and gin in fridge so should be all set for starting the experiment at, oh, bedtime o'clock. Will report back on my findings.

Do it and let us know if it works. G&t slushy sounds awesome.

Am hoping the cold tonic with the alcohol will mean it works Derek, but we'll see!

Soda Stream Prosecco didn't work well. Sad Let's hope this does.

Are you using a Mr Frosty? I always wanted one as a kid. That longing has been rekindled.

I can confirm that kopperberg and wine work well (not at the same time obviously). Not tried with gin, maybe stick the gin in the freezer too?

I've made all kinds of alcoholic slushies since I got the DC these for Christmas. Wine

Agree with NotAgainTrevor everything has to be ice cold.

Chill Factor Slush cups Puggle, they are amazing!

It's a Chill Factor squeeze cup Puggle. Works beautifully on fruit juice and squash, will report back on this version later.

I want to make an alcoholic blue flavour slush puppy.

I have a slush maker, and I make really thick cola slush then add vodka. It won't work if you put alcohol in the machine- the drink needs to have a high sugar content and strong spirits don't freeze.
