He has come in from a few too many beers, claiming he is all right really...but doing the huffy puffy breathing he does when he is pissed.

I love him. I like him. I just fucking hate the huffy puffy stuff.

And his feet smell. (New shoes which have been lobbed in the garden, never to be worn again).

Hurumph.

Does he do the huffy puffy breathing when he's asleep, too?

My DH does this. It always precedes him snoring his head off.
If you leave him to it maybe he'll just pass out on the sofa.

wait until he is asleep and shave off his eyebrows, deny all knowledge in the morning and put it down to how drunk he clearly was.. he brought it on himself.

I can't do that...'twould be a bit mean as he starts a new job on Tuesday
...hence the farewell beers tonight. I think he is already snoring...I can hear it from here....

My DH has passed out on the sofa. I woke him up, but he fell asleep again.

LTBon the sofa?

Definitely LTB on the sofa. Unless he is likely to make so much noise when he wakes at 2am stumbling to bed that the noise now is better than the mutterings later rock/hard place?

LTB on the sofa and count yourself lucky.

OP - how comfy would your sofa be if you went upstairs and nicked the duvet and all the pillows ?

Was feeling slightly kinder towards him when I came upstairs...he has had a shower to neutralise the bad feet smell (Lidl walking boots..not worth it BTW). But even through the wall and over the extractor fan I can hear the fucking huffing!
