I thought perhaps McVities had planted a little gremlin in my TV to make me want more biscuits.

Why is she an announcer if she has torrettes. Seems a bit counter productive.

Oh dear. I did wonder if this wouldn't go down well simply because people aren't aware of Jess Thom.

She's great - I would link to her website, but it's crashed Grin

"if she had tourettes then she wouldnt be saying buscuit"

She didnt. She said biscuit.

Regardless- how would you know how her tourettes affects her?

She does have Tourette's. I heard her last year on Radio 4's Today Programme.

I stand corrected...and happy to be wrong. good for her.

However.... I dont change my opionin on how annoying it is.

NurseyWursey · 24/04/2014 22:43

Thanks meyeah I just fancied one of those.

Nothing wrong with what I've said. I've not seen it. I'm just going off the 'she's an announcer with Tourette's'. Since an announcer er... announces things shouldn't it be someone who is able to say the sentence without their tics interfering? Or am I wrong in saying this Confused

KnittingRocks · 24/04/2014 22:43

I'm sure we all have annoying tics, just some more obvious than others.

good for her, im glad that there is more disability awareness....

but the point is... i wasnt aware... neither will the kids who watch, and repeat it ad nauseum in they playground...

not sure exactly how this furthers disabilty awareness....
