Only if you don't pronounce it "choritso".

Gosh, you've made me feel hungry!

Of course it's a terrible diet for an infant. (Can I come round and eat it instead? Just to avoid waste, you understand..)

You need to send me a portion before I can pass judgement.

I'd be concerned about the salt and nitrates in the chorizo personally, depending on how much of it you've used.

Go for it! Mine ate anything at that age, in another year they'll tell you 'it's d'usting' so enjoy it while it lasts!

YABU, your 11 month old should be eating chicken nuggets and chips, and I should have had an invite.

JuniperTisane · 23/04/2014 17:46

Oh I'm hungry now.

I wouldn't give chorizo to a small child. I don't know if DD just has a sensitive stomach or what, but the nappies were horrendous

Only a small amount of the chorizo, just for flavour! These kids seem to have cast iron stomachs....
He wolfed it down with his hands.

Isn't shell fish unsuitable before a yr?

Report
Wherediparkmybroom · 23/04/2014 17:51

Could they be damaged by lack of processed chicken nuggets?

X post. Glad he liked :o

No he's not missing out. Home made breaded chicken is much nicer :)

Its fine as long as its washed down with a fruit shoo!

Artandco · 23/04/2014 17:53

I would. No rules on against any of that. Mine were weaned on prawns abroad and hv said nothing against shellfish

Stealth boast much Wink

Why not just start a "what are you having for dinner?" thread instead?

YABU. Crack open a box of Turkey Twizzlers you irresponsible MoFo! :)

Never heard shellfish is unsuitable.

I pronounce it choritzo. I'm an uncultured northerner, I don't know any better.

I'm a fishmonger so I know it's fresh, dodgy shell fish is a no no in under 1's in case of poisoning I think!

I fed DS chorizo from that age. had a couple of interesting nappies, but if he's going to live in this house he needs to be able to deal with a bit of chilli, and he is fine with it now.

I'm jealous at the fresh fish source you have!! do you keep the best hits by for yourself? I would Blush

Isn't dodgy shellfish a no-no for over 1s too?
