My son has made a friend a few doors down and the little boy has just gone home.

My son is asd and normally don't cope with this, but today has been without problems.

I am bursting with pride

That's great! Sometimes seemingly small things are SO significant. He is obviously learning to cope with disappointment and transitions, as well as thinking of other people's points of view. Not easy!

I'm really happy for you, I don't understand your situation at all but I can see why this would make you so happy with the problems he's overcome to get to this stage.. I'm actually having a little cry on your behalf.. Bloody pregnancy hormones

I really hope this is the start of amazing things for you Thanks

I can see why it's made you so happy, it's a huge leap for children who have ASD to make friendships. Here's to the start of many more.
