I am bridesmaid on Saturday. I have serious PMS, including water retention which have made my already massive boobs even more massive Hmm. My dress does not feel comfortableConfused I don't want to look awful and feel I will be letting the bride down if I look squashed in! The dress is a Monsoon navy maxi dress called Daisy, I have it in a 12 and so wish I got the 14. Does anyone have one wish they would like to sell on?? Monsoon are out of stock. I am going to live in the steam room for the next week with intermittent bouts on the treadmillGrin I have seen you all preform miracles before, please help! Any magic bloating remedies also gladly accepted!!thank you thank you!!

Go low carb for a week to help with the bloating and water retention - cut out bread, pasta, sugar, grains and drink a lot of water to help flush it all out.

Can you take it to a seamstress and see what they can do? I can't see the link but perhaps a wider zip or replace zip with lace up style?

Eat cucumber. A lot of cucumber. It's a diuretic and you'll wee the inches away Grin

If all else fails eat lettuce for a week. It's a better diuretic than cucumber.

OK, emergency measures are clearly required. I needed to lose a dress size (like you, a 14 to a 12) and lost 10lbs in seven days. This is how I did it:
Day 1: Fruit only, but no bananas.
Day 2: Vegetables only, no dry beans, peas or corn. Evening - 1 large baked potato with butter.
Day 3: Fruit and veg only, no bananas or potatoes.
Day 4: 3-6 bananas and 8 glasses of skimmed milk - I made milk shakes.
Day 5: 10-20 ozs of beef, chicken of fish and either a can of tomatoes or up to six fresh tomatoes. Drink 6-8 glasses of water to wash away the uric acid in your body.
Day 6: 2 or 3 steaks, and veg, no potatoes.
Day 7: Brown rice and veg, unsweetened fruit juice.
You can also have a portion (canned or homemade) of vegetable soup.

I drank plenty of water and some black tea and coffee, but no diet drinks or alcohol at all.
I swear it works - it needs a lot of self control, which I just don't normally have, but I stuck to this fanatically and fit into my dress easily.

Asparagus makes you pee a lot.
Strictly avoid wheat.

Epsom salts (i get them from sainsburys pharmacy)
You need the bathing type, think they're called magnesium sulphate.
Have a hot bath with a large handful in, it works for me.

Suck everything in underwear - as in a full body suit. Works wonders and will smooth a couple of cms off all over. Total pain in the arse to go to the loo in, but needs must. I got an all-in-one from John Lewis the last time I was a bridesmaid and I swear by it.

No carb and no booze and a bit of fasting will also do it but make sure you eat on the morning of the wedding or you will fall over after your first glass of champagne and I'm sure you'd rather be the bridesmaid in the slightly tight dress rather than the one who got steaming and threw up over the brides train!!!

Would one of these do the trick, doesn't matter what your bra size is, you wear your own

I've bought some Maidenform wear your own bra shapewear from TK Maxx for not much money (£10-15). If you have big boobs make sure the straps are as loose as possible.
