That living in This House would be like living inside a black and white movie?

yellowsnownoteatwillyou Sat 15-Mar-14 10:43:48

It does, I think you would also have to have a lot of dramatic pauses in arguments. While drinking cocktails.
How do they live in a house with kids with a satin looking sofa?

FrigginRexManningDay Sat 15-Mar-14 10:44:55

I like it.

Pobblewhohasnotoes Sat 15-Mar-14 10:46:28

It's all a bit dark.

ChaosTrulyReigns Sat 15-Mar-14 10:49:25

Do you think the teddy bear on pic 12 is desperately waiting for the photographer to go so he can have a wee?

grin

Perfectlypurple Sat 15-Mar-14 10:51:05

I love it.

MrsJoeHart Sat 15-Mar-14 10:53:01

That is truly hideous.

BelleateSebastian Sat 15-Mar-14 10:53:04

Haha chaos

I LOVE it and if I win the Euromillions tonight I'll relocate to Leeds!

TheBody Sat 15-Mar-14 10:57:14

it's gorgeous and I love it.

might be a bit mean to do this though op, presumably these people are simply selling their house and don't want it picked over by loads of strangers on the net.

also the children's faces are clearly shown on photos.

I think you should pull this thread before it's reported.

wowfudge Sat 15-Mar-14 10:57:55

Ugh - the wrong side of naff. And it looks like an office building on a business park from the outside. Loadsamoney but not much taste.

pictish Sat 15-Mar-14 11:00:48

The designer probably thinks it's lovely, a study in grey.

I don't like it myself. The outside is weird. Looks like a care home.

pictish Sat 15-Mar-14 11:01:56

Homely...but very 'purpose built'. Kwim?

Marylou62 Sat 15-Mar-14 11:02:33

A beautiful house but not my cup of tea. Right about the kids being recognisable...I would have taken their photos down.

pictish Sat 15-Mar-14 11:03:14

Fans TheBody with a gentleman's hankerchief. grin

CoffeeandNumbers Sat 15-Mar-14 11:06:38

I love love love the colours!
The bricks and mortar are fugly, but I love greys and purples.
That sofa does indeed look hard work with children.

Funnyfoot Sat 15-Mar-14 11:07:01

thebody

There are dozens of threads just like this one on here it's called house porn. The pictures are on zoopla so accessible to anyone on the internet. It is not my fault they didn't remove the pictures of their kids before they put it on the internet.
Plus I wasn't picking it apart I said all the grey makes it feel like it is a black and white movie I wasn't slagging it off.

I will not pull my thread just because you said so!
Take you PO somewhere else.

KinkyDorito Sat 15-Mar-14 11:10:48

That's not far from me. I'm going to buy it and paint everything magnolia.

<searches round to find where she put that spare 4m>

KinkyDorito Sat 15-Mar-14 11:12:05

Oh, and lego. There will be lego scattered everywhere when it is mine.

Funnyfoot Sat 15-Mar-14 11:13:21

Just read the write up and from what I can tell nobody lives in the house.
It appears to be a project and has been purpose built and designed/decorated in a particular way. So I would assume those photos are not of the families children and more models/promotional pictures.

TossedSaladsAndScrambledEggs Sat 15-Mar-14 11:16:03

From the outside it looks like a travel lodge and inside the decor is naff. I'd still swap it for my 2 bed terrace though!

GertTheFlirt Sat 15-Mar-14 11:21:32

pic 6, kitchen sink - just why?

Binkyridesagain Sat 15-Mar-14 11:24:00

The photographer needs to learn how to take photos, those pictures are shit.

pictish Sat 15-Mar-14 11:31:50

There's something else strange about it. The best feature of this eighties style monolith - those huge panoramic feature windows to the back...they are totally wasted. Check it out.

Onesleeptillwembley Sat 15-Mar-14 11:33:02

That is truly hideous. It's very nouveau (rich, not art!) without any soul whatsoever.

LRDtheFeministDragon Sat 15-Mar-14 11:37:57

Wow, that's something else. I got to pic 5 and wondered why they'd taken a black-and-white photo, then realized it wasn't. confused

Very creepy.
