It's been bothering me for days after being plucked last week!

Started of as a little dark grain of sand that the tweezers would not grip but tonight I got the little bugger

That's my excitement over for another week - ten days!

I have one on my cheek that is a bugger, just tried tonight and the tweezers gripped.... then snapped it off, not out so YABU as i cannot share your euphoria

I've got one I've been cultivating. I can 'brush' it now and will pluck it later. I'm a swimmer and fear it will be creating unnecessary 'drag' in the water

I was just going to say about ingrown hairs! They are satisfying jn that you get a spot to squeeze and a hair to pull out. Often find myself mesmerised by the length of then!

I currently have one of the feckers that has ingrown and I cannot seem to dig it out. I can feel it, if that makes sense, and I saw the bugger, but since I tried to pluck it a couple of days ago, it seems to have burrowed deeper.

I am currently sporting the giveaway under-chin-scab.

However....in a couple of days, it will have to surface. And then, then I will have my moment of victory.

I'm with Star. How on earth do they grow so bloody quick. I have one. It can grow so quick that in the morning nothing, by the evening almost pluckable. How can this be??

YANBU. I have two of them. They are magic witches' hairs. The witches put them in while you are asleep. It's why they suddenly appear.

And then they spring from the skin (usually at a time when tweezers are unavailable).
The question is, should you yank them out quick, or really slooooowly?

I don't know much about hair growth and follicles and the likes, but if you're constantly yanking them out and the root clearly comes with it, will they eventually give up and die or will it just be a stubborn bugger and keep going in case you miss it for a while and it ends up 3 inches long?!

HaHaHa - ladies it is so good to know there are others out there! I don't see any other mums on the school run fiddling with their chin in a paranoid manner, and sure the world can see their chinny chin chin hairs growing at a rate of knots like pinochio's nose right in front of their eyes!

I have two wiry ones that grow right under my chin and yes - they are non existent then 3ft long in the space of give minutes! I've started carrying tweezers with me because if I find it in the morning I can't rest all day until it's gone. Very odd looking for a woman to sit obsessively stroking her chin.

The white one are the worst! Really tough to get out. Bad enough having g chin whiskers, but white ones?????

I do keep tweezers in the car because the light is so good. Only for eyebrows at this stage but I'm sure the chin pubes are in the post.
