AIBU to be fed up carrying blasted 34G around

This weekend I have spent laid on the sofa with painful back ache. My shoulders are in a permanent hunch with poor posture because of my 34G size and I'm having physio to help with it. I look ridiculous in any tops and get embarrassed by the size of them and am fed up lugging them around.

I hear you!

36GG/H here and just want to be rid of them! Pain goes from neck all way down to lower back and I honestly can't wear heels for fear falling forward, I'm not little either - size 16-18 but I don't like them and pain they bring!

Also I would love to be able to buy a bra at less than £5 and be supported, the only place I can get decent bras is bravissimo! Not cheap! :(

I use to have 38GG/H and lost weight now around 36/38 F/FF loved my big boobs!

I'm a 34 h and I've just had an apt with a surgeon to get them reduced.
I am counting the days till I get the go ahead for my operation.
Hoping to get down to a c cup.
I'm sick of back and neck pain. Clothes not fitting right.

40JJ here. Can't find a bra that fits for love nor money. And they get in the bloody way. And I can't see my stomach, so when DS put a big chocolate handprint there I went out with the same top on!

32hh here. Hate them (but useful to store your iphone in your bra!) Too scared to have a reduction.

Yes, I'm not that big and don't have the problems you have, but I would still rather have smaller boobs.
I would check out getting the pros and cons of getting them reduced.

That was me and I had a reduction 5 years ago. Amazing.... Just the relief from back pain, clothes I could buy....

Please consider it. Best thing I ever did.

Sleeping is a pain aswell, can't sleep on your front uncomfortable. Bloke in my local paper shop said to me " your tits are massive" infront of my ds. I was mortified and scurried out head down. I have total sympathy with posters who have the same problems. I don't want to go as far as to chop them off but would prefer them to at least be in proportion to my 8-10 frame. And then I wouldn't look like the bloody hunch back of notre damn.

I would kill for the ability to buy bras for a fiver :(

And for perky little boobs that I don't need to choose my clothes around to avoid looking too badly proportioned.

As an aside, if your shoulders are sore then your bra is probably the wrong size. A well fitted bra should support you from the band, not the shoulder straps. I used to have terrible back and shoulder pain when I was younger and wearing bras fitted by M and S (38F) but once I switched to bravissimo it all went. Now wear a 32JJ (and am probably fatter now so would have been a 30J when M and S were fitting me)

I was a 36G before bf and went up to a 38JJ during and they just didn't go - they sagged even more and I felt do low about it. Wished I could just cut them off. One day I was topless at home and caught my nipple on a door handle and thought enough is enough.

I had a breast reduction on 1st November and it has been amazing. I'm now a 36DD and loving it.

I honestly couldn't recommend it enough. It has changed my life. I no longer feel like the girl with the giant boobs which feels wonderful.

Bongobaby - do you mind me asking where you got measured? Size 8-10 would normally need a no more than a 30 back. A 34 back would mean you measure 34 inches under your bust. You might be wearing the wrong size which would contribute to your back pain.

I have to ask if you are wearing the right size bra... A 34 inch band on a 8-10 frame seems a bit big. I'm a 10 and I am a 28inch. Could a better fitting bra help? Try the bra ladies on style and beauty?

Great to hear those of you with positive breast reduction results. A friend of mine recently had hers done and it gave me the final push to go for it.
I had to diet to get down to a Bmi of 25 for my health insurance to cover it.
I work in the hospital where the op will be done !!!
The sooner the better.

Whatever you choose to do long term, in the short, get down to a bravissimo store and get measured. You will even have choices! Lol!

Bongobaby, if m&s fitted you you are almost without a shadow of a doubt in the wrong size, and this will be hugely contributing to the pain. I'm a 30HH so probably a similar size to you in reality and my breasts don't cause any pain at all.

Can you do me a favour? Grab a measuring tape, and measure firmly underneath your bust in inches? do it with your bra off. That measurement will tell us pretty damn quickly if your bra is miles off but to give you an idea..M&S fit me at a 36F/34G....

I am. Size eighteen so don't think I could get a reduction. Bravissimo was great tho as the bras really lift and show off my waist. However they always break after a month or so the wires come out. Apparently this is common with the Alana bra.

pinkstinks, when the wire pops out frequently it's quite often that you need one more cup size. Sometimes one cup too small isn't that obvious but just overstrains the bra a tad :)

They seem to know it is a faulty issue though as they have given me a free one when I complained and all of the reviews do mention it...

I think it is a weak point - but I was advised by someone in the know that them being a bit too wee can be a part of the issue. It might be worth ordering one size up to try and see if it helps. I've had tonnes of Alanas and never lost a wire yet

I'm a 34g and have had chronic back pain for years! I've thought about a reduction but the surgery looks pretty scary. I've heard they have to chop your nipple off and sew it back on which means that you would lose feeling in the nipple. Is this true...?
