I've been on MN for a few months, I downloaded the app after googling something!
Now on my phone it's not showing me rules and regulations of MN

What are the rules of posting on things? As I've just posted on a couple of threads and 2 people have mentioned about zombies!

I've gathered lol pmsl etc are not allowed!

So could someone kindly tell me what's not and what is allowed please

Zombies are old (dead) threads you resurrect by adding a new post to them and bringing them back into active convos - generally long after the issue has been resolved or the OP has moved on.

OP - do you mean posting on old threads and you've revived one without realising, hence the zombie comment?

Thank you ladies I asked on a thread I had commented on and I didn't realise it was old threads people had commented on today before me, but I've just been told I'm not a new user and I've changed my name!! I changed my name back in July or August as I had put my real name!!

Wee you will come across people who feel they need to police the threads (other posters not MNHQ who can do this). they try to tell you where your thread should have been posted, pull you up on grammar and spelling, that sort of thing. Just ignore.

Blardy hell. There is another poster with an extremely similar name who has been an arse recently. I have actually apologised on the other thread once I realised my mistake.

weelady I'm sorry that AIBU has been an unenjoyable experience for you. That's genuinely not a criticism of you. As you've said yourself, to each his own and you have disliked responses here since you tried it out nearly a fortnight ago.

May I once again suggest chat? In Chat, threads older than 90 days are deleted, so it wouldn't matter if the zombie warning doesn't display on your mobile phone. (What phone model are you using? It may be worth you telling MNHQ that doesn't display on your model.)

If you've got a fairly distinctive username sometimes it gets noticed on different threads. And Weelady is a rather good one, I noticed it and it made me smile straight away. Then people who spend far too much time here (like me ) start to unconsciously use information they've picked up about you on one thread when they reply to you on another. Hence the feeling stalked!

Because I replied to the child modelling thread before you did, not after, which would rather imply that you were stalking me, if anything.

And when you start a shirty thread about being picked on (and dress it up as asking about the Rules), people do have a right to reply.

I totally understand they didn't like what is done on another thread I actually agreed I could see there point! But every time I comment on something they bring it all back up looking for an argument to me it feels like stalking!
It's like a bee in her bonnet she can't let go for some reason,

When you first go to post on a zombie thread, you get a BIG RED warning, explaining exactly what a zombie thread is and asking if you're sure you want to post on it.

Please stop pleading ignorance and bullying - it doesn't wash when you've called other posters 'Katie Hopkins-like'.
