To have rage with everything? (Lighthearted)

I'm having what I call a 'bad month', menstruation related.

Everyone and everything is filling me with rage. I'm knackered and very irritable.

I want to hide under the duvet and eat biscuits, but instead I've a million and one things to do. People to face, two evening soft play parties to go to, work everyday and a house sort out which is currently overflowing with presents to wrap.

'D'p has put a milkshake in the fridge lain down and it's leaked everywhere, he won't use a coaster or take his socks off without turning them half inside our and screwing them up into a ball, and then chucking them anywhere other than the washing basket.

And ds just keeps repeating 'mummeeeeee', 'mummeeeeee', 'can I have' over and over again.

Help, what do you do when you're like this?

And please don't tell me you never get like this.

I am like this a lot at the minute, due to pregnancy rage, and related tiredness and Fucking Unquenchable Hunger. DH normally gives me food and tea, then backs away carefully. I wanted to kill him the other day as he hadn't cleaned the frying pan <overreaction>

I did find my blood pressure rising when I read about the milkshake.

Can you get some sunlight and fresh air? Being cooped up and in the dark at this time of year doesn't help.

At the weekend yes, I have nice things planned for the weekend. But I have to make it through until then.

2 evenings at soft play? You have my heart felt sympathy.

In situations like this I eat too much chocolate, behave unreasonably to everyone around me and hope it ends soon...

yes to the socks, lying around everywhere, smelly, worn and effin annoying.

as to what to to do when you feel like this, I eat, shite usually, thats why I'm a fat munter.

Is it just me or is it an unwritten rule that you never put an opened bottle in the fridge, lying down, unless you're 100% certain you've screwed the top back tightly?

God I have the rage at the moment. Why is it on a morning when I have a really busy day in front of me, I get that driver in front of me. The one that is waiting to pull out, sees you coming but decides at the last minute to come screaming out in front of you anyway, forcing you to brake. Then does precisely 19.5 mph on a 30 limit, completely clear road and dry conditions.

Every single fucking morning this week. <breathes>

I'll stop now - I could go on for some considerable time about the myriad things that have pissed me off this week

Yanbu.

I have had the most awful rage the last few days. Everyone is shit. I even bellowed this morning because a very old man's clutch control wasn't what it could be on doing a hill start, and he was over revving.

I am only emerging from the hatred and angry tears this evening!

How people with multiple small children cope with feeling like this, I have no idea.

Oh dp is great at that linzi. I was at the doctors last week and had bloody pressure taken for something else, it was a bit high, probably down to a bit of stress the nurse said as I don't drink/smoke, not overweight.

I told dp when he got in, said I was going to start doing some exercise, looking after myself a bit better.

He dismissed that and started talking about himself, and how he thinks he's going to get diabetes. No symptoms, no health concerns, he literally plucked it out of thin air.

Oh and I've just found he's left 2 used ear buds on the bedside cabinet. Lovely.

Last time I got really ragey, I had a night to myself- bath, glass of warm red wine, curry, got into my onsie and watched Doctor Who for my feel good factor. Time before that it was a bath, wine and made love to myself for an hour. The wine and bath are consistent, the rest varies. Give them a try smile

I am furious. Livid at every fucking thing. Right now my eyelashes are making me hot and my hair is scratchy.
I will be like this until 2 Jan. angryangryangryangryangry

Was relatively calm until I read your OP now my rage is back!

39 weeks pregnant - had been doing pretty well until this week when now for some reason if I see something out of place my ears and cheeks start getting hot and I have to either explode or retreat grin

Seriously - I looked in the mirror after getting in a fluster earlier and cheeks were bright pink angry

Wet work shirts in the tumble dryer with sleeves rolled up.

Damp towels hanging to "dry" on top of other damp towels.

Dirty nappy in bag by front door "ready" to go out?! Exactly how long does it need to get ready?! Open the door and put it out!

And the most annoying thing ever - just went to the kitchen and stood in a puddle on the floor where dog's water bowl had been kicked earlier. Cold wet sock feet angry

Raaaaaah! grin

I have the rage. I have the sort of rage that only a six month period can brew. I make the mistake of feeding the rage coffee. Tasty but possibly not the wisest thinggrin
