I avoided it for ages because I hate the fact they have penis heads and heard it was really annoying too. I finally watched an episode with dd and omg I think I love it more than she does. I love the way mummy pig and daddy pig aren't perfect and I actually find myself laughing at some of the episodes Hmm The one with the grandparents and the lorry of gnomes Grin And the ice puddle when peppa fell over muahhaha.

AIBU to like it more than dd seems to?

It has its merits, but encouraging children to jump in muddy puddles is not one of them. [Don't like messy kids]

Just wait. That theme tune will burrow its way inside your head and you will end up humming it at 3am

I don't think anyone could like it more than my DD does but I do love it, it's hilarious, my husband sings the grampy rabbit songs which makes me laugh so much. It has seeped into almost every part of our lives now! It's the only tolerable thing on telly so sick days involve a lot of peppa pig in our house!!

Ben and Holly is better. Nanny Plum and the Wise Old Elf are hilarious - and I laugh out.loud every time I see the episode about the boat eating fish: "It's mutiny! Mutiny on the Bunty!"

I love it too! Very funny!

That's one of the reasons I avoided so long dip! I read loads of posts on here about what terrible examples it sets for children so was like "MY DD IS NOT WATCHING THAT FIIIILTH". And then fell in love with it myself

I am about 2.5 years in to the 'Peppa Phase'. I will be really sad when the youngest DC doesn't want to watch it any more Blush. The end of an era! Grin

2.5 years! I wonder if I will still love Peppa after that long. I'm recording all the episodes just in case though muhahaha.

I love it and have done for a very long time - since it came out in 2004 I think!
All of life is there. When we went to the dentists, the doctors, the supermarket etc there was always an episode to reflect that - very important with asd ds1 who is obsessed with peppa.
Best ever moment was when dh reluctantly started to climb a tree in the rain to retrieve a kite and dd shouted out 'just like daddy pig did'

Hate the snorts. Hate the stick legs and arms. Hate Daddy Pig. Hate it. Angry

OP, you are being very, very, very unreasonable. That is all.

2004! I didn't realise it was so old! That must mean there's loads of episodes waiting for us Grin

I must admit amra for the first 2 mins or so, the snorting annoyed me and the skinny legs on the fat bodies made me rage but then George did his crying thing and I was sucked in!

I used to love Peppa. I quite like daddy pig he is lazy but does help out about the house. I like the episode where he tries to put up a picture and ends up making a hole in the wall.

We all love Peppa Pig. Even my 10yo, who loves the comedy.

DS2, who is 7 and pretty much non-verbal was chanting "Pehhhhppa Peeeeeg!" on the way to school, this morning!

We're amused by all Miss Rabbit's jobs!

I love the adult jokes in it. Especially in the driving in italy episode!

I like the subtle adult humour such as grandad pig showing peppa his pet chickens and Mr fox just happens to hanging around them.

Ben and Holly is very funny

Yanbu.
The new car was a particular favourite. And I'd forgotten about the holiday in Italy, hilarious.
Ds is 7, but every so often, if he's very tired, he'll have a peppa pig moment. Smile

YANBU - both my DC have lived it and it is v sweet. i like Nr Fox and Mummy Rabbit and Pedro Pony ! But I do think that Peppa is a bit if a brat sometimes , and that sodding Mr Potato is Coming to Town song will not get out if my head!

Love it. And Ben and Holly. The makers should be knighted.

Ugh you are being sooo unreasonable!

She's a bratty little madam who needs manners putting on her!

I live in hope that one day one of her "muddy puddles" will be man hole and she'll fall, grunting to her death.

Aaah I can't wait to see all these episodes . And nooo don't put peppa in a butty or manhole!
