My current phone is an iPhone 4. I don't consider it an old phone that I'd be likely to just give away. Far too expensive.

I can see what she means. I've had an iPhone 5 for over a year and it's just been upgraded to the 5s and the 5c so a 4 technically is an old model.

spencer - I am sure that you were only trying to do a kind thing but, with the greatest of respect, if you want to play Big Hearted Arthur, you should arrange by way of PM (i.e off board) to either buy a new phone or send the OP the money.
