What the title says really. 28 weeks pregnant, can't be arsed to get off the sofa to go and make a proper tea!
DP says IABU!

Make it a Monster Munch sandwich instead.

Only if they're pickled onion flavour grin

killpeppa Thu 07-Nov-13 19:17:08

no not at all.

I'm having a cookie & Percy pigs...
im not pregnant...anymore

Babysealion Thu 07-Nov-13 19:19:01

Ooh good idea Lurleene!

complexnumber Thu 07-Nov-13 19:19:04

Can you make it into a sandwich?

Then I deny any reasonable thinking person to say you do not have a decent meal in your hands.

maillotjaune Thu 07-Nov-13 19:20:02

What flavour? If pickled onion then YANBU.

Babysealion Thu 07-Nov-13 19:21:38

Pickled onion of course. Although I am quite partial to the beef and spicy ones blush

Lurleene Thu 07-Nov-13 19:22:37

Hope you enjoy it. Anyway when you are pregnant the body supposedly craves what it needs so tell DP it's what your baby wants for dinner.

redshifter Thu 07-Nov-13 19:23:33

YANBU. Unless they are beef ones. Eurgh!

AlwaysDancing1234 Thu 07-Nov-13 19:24:10

Oooh I could just eat a picked onion monster munch sandwich, not at all unreasonable grin

Mim78 Italy Thu 07-Nov-13 19:26:07

How can it be unreasonable? It's up to you what you have for tea.

If question was "is it a meal?" then maybe not.

But your choice of what to eat can't be unreasonable I don't think.

(PS- i like pickled onion flavour. My dh often has pickled onion flavour monster munch for tea if he's late back from work. Would not occur to me to say he was being unreasonable!)

whattodoo Thu 07-Nov-13 19:26:22

Have a side of tomato ketchup. One of your 5 a day.

YerDaftApeth Thu 07-Nov-13 19:26:58

YANBU unless you eat the flamin' hot ones. They are horrid and I could never face eating them again after my dear sis said they tasted like her DH's spunk shock

I pretty much lived off monster munch and laughing cow cheese triangles for a few weeks when I was pregnant with DS - about all I could stomach.
Therefore,YANBU, your baby is telling you exactly what it needs! You also need to recharge those batteries; no fannying about in the kitchen!

killpeppa Thu 07-Nov-13 19:30:49

yerdaft- what the actual fuck does your BIL eat!? just plain spices?!

your sister needs to rein in the over-sharinggrin

YerDaftApeth Thu 07-Nov-13 19:33:27

I didn't ask killpeppa! I think she did say it was when he'd eaten spicy food grin ps totally agree with your nickname.

Mogz Thu 07-Nov-13 19:38:04

If DP doesn't think it's reasonable why isn't he bringing you delicious, nutritious offerinspgs instead?

The beef ones taste of fart. Once you have been told this you will never not taste it.

Pickled Onion Monster Munch are what they serve in Heaven after the cheese and pickle sandwiches.

UriGeller Thu 07-Nov-13 19:46:51

Those things stick in my teeth. But YANBU, you're preggers therefore you're excused.

Heartbrokenmum73 Thu 07-Nov-13 19:47:05

Nooooooo the beef ones are the best ones.

I also like coffee creams grin

Runs away from thread cackling loudly...

JeanSeberg Thu 07-Nov-13 19:49:33

DP says IABU

LTB

Oblomov Thu 07-Nov-13 19:52:07

Yum.smile

Iaintdunnuffink Thu 07-Nov-13 19:53:35

Pickled onion and mature cheddar sandwich is the way to go.

Xochiquetzal Thu 07-Nov-13 19:53:44

Surely DP is being unreasonable for commenting rather than offering to make you tea/get you something to go with the monster munch? wink
