to want to buy baby trousers with sewn-in feet?

Ds is still tiny but i'm thinking about getting him some clothes now that are not sleepsuits.
Went today to try to find some dungarees etc with feet sewn-in as can't be arsed with the faff of baby socks and was only able to find one outfit that fits the bill!

Am I the only person whose heart sinks at the thought of washing and pairing up baby socks? AIBU to want sewn-in feet in clothes for babies too small to be walking yet?

Ds1 is 14 but I remember he had pyjamas consisting of a top and separate trousers with feet in.

How old is your DS?

I kept DD in sleepsuits for ages as they were the easiest, comfiest thing for her to wear. I did find some trousers with feet in at M&S recently. There fairly 'rare' though I think.

My sons wore tights, or a babygro under their trousers.

yep tights

Bit like these I guess PJs weren't quite what you had in mind though.

YANBU! We were given one pair of little trousers with feet for DS and wore them to death - I wish there were more out there!

VulvaVoom Mon 14-Oct-13 19:48:31

Ah the holy grail of trousers. M&S do them I think.

Socks are a pain especially when they can pull them off and drop them everywhere.

I always used to put DD in a nice sleepsuit with a cardie over it, looks lovely.

great h&m links!

thanks!

M&s have them, called crawlers. I found that the waist/length ratio was never right for mine. They wiggled/rolled/crawled them off!

Mine all wore those trousers with feet as babies! H&m and also mother are and I had a pair from m&s as well.

Jojo maman bebe, Gap and mothercare do some. I have 5 in each size. The thought of finding/pairing socks and keeping them on baby fills me with dread.

SmokedMackerel Mon 14-Oct-13 19:53:39

JoJo maman bebe do them, and H&M.

Boots may also do some though tescos and asda also have them but under pj's. We also got some from mothercare both in and out of sets but this was three years ago. Dd2 is currently wearing the ones I searched high and low for dd1 to wear.

SaucyJack Mon 14-Oct-13 19:55:35

Mothercare do loads of them.

whats wrong with sleep suits? They look so cuuuuuuute. Babies in clothes always look a bit uncomfortable.. I hate that the manufactures design clothes for adults then just miniaturise them for babies... They aren't built the same!

it's why adult look fucking ridiculous in those giant onsies

I've had a pack of newborn, 0-3 months and 3-6 months baby leggings with feet for DS from mothercare and love them. I don't think they do them in 6Month+ though sad
I hate putting socks on him, they're either too big that they just fall off, or too small that they pinch his chunky ankles.

It's getting cold so I put a nice plain white baby grow under his outfits. Keeps him toasty and no lost socks.
