I mean really.

I can't adequately express it, actually. I have met my best friends here. I laughed and cried and celebrated and commiserated here. It's been about seven years, I think, which makes you all my longest ever relationship (I met you a week before I met DH).

A rl friend linked the fucking Penis Beaker thing from FB earlier and it gave me the rage (apols to penis beaker OP) because I am so protective and proud of you all. I don't like that we are known for penis beakery and not known for being the wonderful warm place I love.

You lot held my hand when [http://justsomestuffaboutus.wordpress.com/2013/10/12/im-going-to-write-the-shit-out-of-it/ this shit happened]] and I wouldn't have coped without you. You raged with me when I needed to vent about my cunty ex. You slapped my virtual arse when I was a dickhead (often). You've even banned me once or twice. But my love for you (collective you, all eleventy million of you plus MNHQ) has never wavered.

So I just wanted to say that I love you all. Some more than others , but you are all part of the rich tapestry of my wonderful Mumsnet so it's a general love-in.

Yup! With you on the protective thing. People were posting links all over my Facebook and it really pissed me off. I wanted to say that this is not what it's all about and what about all the campaigns, the time when a MNer was suffering after her DH died and a working party was pit together to go and help clean her house. When someone has been dragged back from suicidle thoughts. The Christmas appeal. The We Believe You campaign. I will admit to sharing a lot of the Wooly Hugs Facebook updates in a PA manner. MN is the Mutts Nuts.

And Reality you are an amazing lady.

Interesting. I watched Penis Beaker with glee as the world found out how fucking funny and over the top MN can be. They can find out the rest of that stuff once they come here and poke around.
