I'm not beautiful
I can't quite claim pretty
And I'm over 11 so not happy with cute

I'm going to be suave. I am going to live a life of suave. I am certain I don't need a penis to do it and don't care if people think I do.

So suave it is.

AthelstaneTheUnready Wed 09-Oct-13 20:04:24

I'm going to be Soave.

<glug>

It's the same as suave, but with chillier fingers.

Ha....<raises chin and attempts a sashay>

I'll see your suave and raise you an......Urbane

But Clara

I am suave. I could so be James Bond.

BeaverAbroad Wed 09-Oct-13 18:35:39

I like simple words. I am charming, elegant, graceful and confident.

lies

I seem to remember Marcus being a bit greasy and overweight hmm

ClaraOswald Wed 09-Oct-13 17:31:14

Suave is behaviour, not appearance.

You are far too hard on yourself about your looks.

EldritchCleavage Wed 09-Oct-13 17:29:44

No, Marcus was louche.

TheHeadlessLadyofCannock Wed 09-Oct-13 17:10:52

I'd also love to be soignee but I'm too weird-looking and scruffy.

Angelica Huston apparently once said to Erin O'Connor 'You may never be beautiful but you will always be magnificent'.

I'd take that but no one would ever use that word about me

Suave is great, HD!

HesterShaw Wed 09-Oct-13 17:10:51

"insouciant"

How do you even say that?

EldritchCleavage Wed 09-Oct-13 17:05:44

I aspire to soignee. Will never happen though.

FanjoForTheMammaries Wed 09-Oct-13 17:04:16

Yes wink

Get those dishes washed!

I want to be suave. Why do the Menz get all the good words?

Fanjo I shit you not. I looked down when you said that and indeed they were! Are you hiding in my kitchen?

perplexedpirate Wed 09-Oct-13 15:25:19

Suave is Nigel Havers.
Are you Nigel Havers?
Are you?

YouTheCat Wed 09-Oct-13 15:18:18

twirls moustache

dancemom Wed 09-Oct-13 15:17:55

I'm reserved with an air of haughty - well I have decided I'm going to be after reading this thread!

UriGHOULer Wed 09-Oct-13 15:14:51

Oh debonair thats the one for me!

<adjusts impeccable suit cuffs at Youthecat>

Suave is David Niven.

Insouciant is more early Audrey Hepburn.

Are you more of a David than an Audrey?

ArgyMargy Wed 09-Oct-13 15:11:35

Do what you like, but try looking in a dictionary first.

nicename Wed 09-Oct-13 15:10:27

Are you going to be sff-isticated to?

FanjoForTheMammaries Wed 09-Oct-13 15:09:14

Sorry..your fly is undone

YouTheCat Wed 09-Oct-13 15:08:26

I'd like to be debonair. grin

NumTumRedRum Wed 09-Oct-13 15:07:34

What happened to awesome? Awesome is good. Suave makes me think of men in bowler hats.

MaidOfStars Wed 09-Oct-13 15:04:13

Insouciant means nonchalant/carefree/blithe, not clumsy/hapless.

Better than suave, which is, um, rather too smooth for my liking smile
